acetone to clean your steel and extend gas shut-off time

Yes I’m cleaning everything with acetone and now have post-flow set at 8-10 seconds 👌👌👌

Hi just started watching you're working progress and I got myself a mig /tig welder but been worried about trying to tig as never tryed before but you made it look easier than I thought so getting some argon soon and will try stainless but what about alloy I'm watching E 22 at the moment do you do any alloy welding Paul plymouth 🎉

Hi Paul. It’s all about the practice at this stage and sticking with it. I’ve not tried alloy yet, that’s a different beast altogether, a lot more tricky but will give it a go soon!

Don’t cheap out on the welding helmet either mate. I’ve had fairly good helmets from screwfix but the latest second hand miller digital elite blows any cheaper stuff out of the water and makes the learning process far more enjoyable.
