I secretly named our first born the same name Homer picked out. My wife didn't realize that when I told her we need to name him, if he's a boy, to name him Maxwell Martin Power. (Martin after my mother's maiden name). Then two weeks after his birth I showed her the episode. He's MaxMPower... Just like Homer except better. He's 18 now. I tell people that I have the second coolest name. So if you have to nail down life into what it's all about... It's power. Who has it; who doesn't; and who wants it; and who's lost it... and who has the most of it. Who has maximum power.
