“You can choose your friends but you can’t choose your family.”
We have a ‘Christmas Day Exclusive’ for you with the biological father of 21 Savage, ‘Mr Kevin Cornelius Emmons’ telling his truth. Kevin felt the need to explain his side of the story as he feels that he hasn’t been portrayed in the right light by his son 21 Savage in his interview with ‘The Breakfast Club’ and other more recent interviews. He states how much he still loves his first born Shéyaa (21 Savage) but stresses that things aren’t always what they seem and that you can’t always take the woman’s word for gospel. Spray and Savage have similar backgrounds with Sprays mum moving them from Dominica to England when he was 7 and Savage’s mum moving them from England to the U.S when he was 7 also. Both had their dads fully in their lives up until that age and both ended up eventually becoming estranged to them. Sprays dad is dead now and he never got the chance to have a conversation with his father and question him about his reasonings behind some of his actions. Kevin gave him the opportunity to ask those questions and also got to hear from Spray how 21 might feel about Kevin’s answers. Queen Icecream was there to stick up for the women by any means necessary as usual! Lol! It really was an extremely interesting Realer Than Most conversation with full transparency. It’s RTM so you know jokes have to run but there was some serious issues being spoken about including how unfair it is for the fathers, regarding their children, once they are no longer in a relationship with the mother of that child. Even worse if they were never in a relationship full stop. Kevin also talks about the pain of losing his other son after he was murdered (RIP) and how that has affected him. No stone is left unturned. Essential viewing, don’t miss it! Please remember to like, comment, share and subscribe. Thanks for your support, we appreciate it.

@@JL-nk1pc like I said, she was asking CONSTRUCTIVE questions and was able to articulate very well, which helped open a bigger picture and dialogue. That’s exactly why spray has her on the show. Because she possesses those brilliant qualities. It’s a team effort, wasn’t a dig at spray he asked couple hot questions. He’s good at what he does too, hence he has a show.. The perspective was there was too much extra idle chat & extras in between not enough focus. I wanted to know more, I’m here for the meticulous details I won’t find anywhere else, & they’re there to draw it out.

I really hope 21 and his Pops reconnect properly because as a Londoner that moved to America It was much harder to stay in touch with friends and fam in LDN It used to be Emails , Calling Cards or Expensive International Calls to chat to anyone..Not as simple as today and its obvious that they made man jump through hoops to chat to his yout when he already was dealing with his responsibilities in London as well as the hope for maintaining a relationship across the Atlantic with his 1st born. Bless Up You Lot!!!

Great interview.. I could relate to a lot of this..my son moved to America with his mum when he was 5 back in 2005 and I’ve been through similar things ever since. It’s not easy for fathers when your child gets taken over seas, yet there’s always more we could’ve done and ultimately we’re always the bad guy in the end.. It’s easy for people to judge, but god forbid they ever find themselves in that position with their yoot

It's the MOTHERS, unfortunately. Some of them DO turn the children against their estranged fathers. It's so common there is actually a term for it in psychology, It's called: Parent Alienation. Don't blame yourself brother, there is likely nothing you could have done to strengthen the relationship with your son where PA is the root of the problem.

Having watched this back and deeping it properly. As a father your role is to be as constant as possible to try and be there in your children's lives irrespective if they live overseas. If they don't get back to you. Keep on contacting them. At least they know and can see you've been trying to communicate with them. It's not about what the child wants it's about what you need as a parent to do. Which even when they reach adulthood regardless if they make 10x more money. You goal is to protect and provide a safe haven for them to continue to guide them when they need it.

1:34:40 Love what Spray stated here.. was needed in this discussion and he was 100% right about men having to do more to retain their relationship with their child after these scenarios. Cream I got love for you but you was coming defensive solely from a woman's perspective during this interview and was struggling to understand the men's point of view and their struggles.. most women are the same. Women are wicked alot of the time and in this particular scenario.. 21 Savages mum birthed this whole situation by putting HERSELF and HER INTERESTS before her child's by moving to another country for a 'fresh start', without considering the impact this would have on her son's relationship with his father.. this is facts and alot of women need to be held accountable.

To any father from all races fight hard to be in ur children's life so they don't get caught up in the narrative. Love without action can come across empty to a child. One day that child will grow and respect u even if it meant you doing more than the other parent for now. The more you do the more the child will respect and love you cos he or she will no you done it for them....To fathers who still live with there children continue embracing them with love peace and happiness. This episode was real we need more content like this for real on more platforms.

Spray sweet me couple times 🤣🤣🤣 he was on his neck but not disrespectful its like he was being 21 in the interview thinking of what he would say, I also think Spray left this thinking more about his relationship with his son and children. The lil brother sister arguments between hosts was pure love thats really how they be in real life u can tell 💕 amazing interview loved it

Like father Like son... theyre both stubborn and didnt want to admit to one another that they miss each other. pops was passive so i understand why 21 said fuck em. this should of all changed after the passing of his brother as its all water under a bridge in the long run. family is important and regardless of how they treat you or you treat them you're connected. The thing i respect about pops is he didnt forget anything nor did he act like 21 wasnt around and cut him off just like his mum cut his side of the family out. As adults when will we realise that its up to us to keep our relationships together and keep it honest with each other good or bad because all the pent up emotions will just do more harm than good.

I think he was wrong for asking 21 "What do you want me to do?" when he got shot. As a parent, when your child gets jurt, you don't supposed to ask them "What do you you want me to do?". That's unfit. And it makes you look useless and weak. You supposed to know what to do. You supposed to have the answers. You supposed to save them. Your kids look at you like superman.

Spray, he is NOT your father. You projected like crazy and was waayyy too emotional about the situation. I'm truly sorry you lost your father, but your opportunity has passed. On your part, this was ridiculously biased and childish. You passed way too judgement, cut him AND Cream off entirely too much, shady as hell the entire time, and had the nerve to state in the beginning that you hadn't seen your son in (wasn't answered, obviously a long ass time though), he doesn't call you, and doesn't answer when you call. Yall also live in the same country...at this point it you need to look in the mirror, he avoids you for a reason.

Kevin if you’re reading this, you’re son is an adult but at the end of the day he still you’re seed. He just needs a hug and some love you are the parent he is the child and his feeling of resentment from childhood are still present; get back in contact as a father sit him down in person and give him a hug.
