You can change the tennis elbow back spasm phase from 1999... Because it's the 1999 test match in Chennai against Pakistan that Tendulkar got his trouble with back spasm. How do I know? Because I was in the stadium watching the classic final day chase where he brought the team close to victory but fell short of 12 runs. Ofcourse I was one of those fans who joined the stadium to appreciate Pakistan during that iconic victory lap . This was the match that shaped Tendulkar and to attain great heights.

If Sachin was born in this era, he would have scored centuries at will. If he could have gotten the bowling attacks of today's, he would tear them apart at will, if he could have gotten today's batting friendly wickets, smaller grounds, DRS, he would reach a position in terms of batsmanship that nobody could ever dreamt of replicating. He probably would have made 50000 runs with 200 centuries... But I am happy he is not playing in today's era...because there is nobody or nothing to challenge him, and frankly, the toughest challenges in the cricketing world has made Sachin the Legend of a lifetime. This 47 is better than any recent so called great innings of today's heroes that I can remember.

We tend to think that but it is NOT TRUE. I did a check based on EXACTLY your criteria. Considered only ODIs Sachin played in first 10 years. (That aligns with your first sentence) India batted second and lost the ODI with a max margin of 20 runs SRT scored at least 30 runs Truth: India lost ONLY 3 ODIs where after Sachin got out and the other players couldn't score up to 20 runs. ODI # 684 against Pakistan ODI # 711 against Australia ODI # 1259 against England If 3 losses are "many times" then you are correct. Else not.

Then you should research properly. He mentioned sachin career time not his first 10 matches…Its not 20 or 30 margin.. look at the score when sachin is there and the final score.. There are many occasions and i will remind few for you. 2011 wc against southafrica And against Australia when sachin scored 175, when sachin got out after that in last 3 overs 19 runs needed but can’t get it. 1996 semifinal against Srilanka.. If you do proper research there are plenty of times you can see he was the alone warrior.
@justineray9001
@justineray9001 Жыл бұрын
@@Funcap346 Listen dude ... 1. His first sentence says "The time when Sachin's wicket was the guarranty of victory for opposition.". What is that timeframe? You may think SRT's entire career is that timeframe. I don't. I considered till December 1999 when Sachin completed 10 years covering 229 ODIs. From 2000 onwards, India had Dada, Veeru, Yuvi, and then Dhoni, Gambhir etc. 2 So, 2011 SA match was out of my consideration as this was NOT when Sachin's wicket meant sure victory for opposition. In 2011 WC final, SRT failed but we still won because of Gambhir and Dhoni. 3. Read the root post of this thread. He clearly mentioned "13-20 runs needed for victory". He didn't mention Sachin was the lone warrior in a losing cause. 4. 1996 WC semifinal was lost by India by a wide margin. Not by "13-20 runs". So, out of consideration. I request you to read his original post more carefully. India lost only 3 ODIs in first 229 ODI matches played by SRT where when SRT got out, the ask was max 20 runs. Data don't lie. And even if we take his full 463 ODIs, the number is unlikely to be in double digit for the criteria that "when SRT got out, Indian needed up to 20 runs but still managed to lose."

You can see the difference even on TV, but if you see him playing at a ground, the big difference is much clearer. It's like he has time dilation and can see the ball in slow motion. His bat, his stance, his shot, all have so much extra time. Every shot is played with a full face of the bat, with full confidence, almost an insulting punch to the bowler, there is extra power, there is that 100% confidence of the placement and timing. A very uniquely gifted batsman. Bowlers must feel so badly frustrated that they have to make plans and analyse his game a lot to force him to make mistakes, because he won't make mistakes by himself like most other batsmen. And his technique so clean and sure. The confidence in the shots is what beat most bowlers. Like he knows before you bowl where the ball will reach him and at what speed. And being a Mumbai cricketer, Sidhu rightly said his brain like a computer. Everyone's is, but his you can see, is clearly much faster and processes more data, and perfectly. You really need to see him play on the ground to see the difference in confidence in every shot, attacking or defensive. And the bat always meets the ball full face, there are no half shots.
