In 2003 Australia was a first class team with extra ordinary bowling attacks Brett Lee, Glen Mc grath, Gillepse and all but in 2023 Australia's team was not as good as that of 2003 but still we lost. In 2023 we had the record breaker Kohli, hitman Rohit, KL Rahul, Boom Boom Bumrah but still we lost. All that matters is the winning mentality which the current team of India lacks. In 2003 India's bowling attack was not comparable with that of 2023 but still with world class bowlers and batsman we lost an easy match where we have already defeated Australia in the group stage matches. In 2003 Australia was a terror to all the international teams. At that time the way India played was very praiseworthy.

Nonsensical hero worshipping. Cricket became famous in India because of that extraordinary 1983 world cup victory not because of Sachin. It is because of that world cup victory & the likes of Kapil Dev, the very next world cup in 1987 happened in India & cricket exploded in subcontinent. World cup matches were happening in empty grounds in Sachin's time too, this recent world cup has more audience in the ground than any world cup in history, even more than 2011 which happened here.
