@GOSMGR1 Thanks! As a non-UK resident I only began watching Emmerdale for the Aaron story when it started last year. Strange that Alan has not appeared in any scene with Aaron that I can recall.

@TVFILMBUFF Alan Turner-he's been in it for ever.I think he used to be the landlord of the Woolpack at one point,if I'm not mistaken.

@TVFILMBUFF The actor who plays Alan Turner (Richard Thorpe) only returned to the show in April after being on leave for about a year (I think due to health reasons) so thats probably why you haven't seen him in any scenes so far. Plus usually there is no reason for Aaron and Alan to interact,

Dear Jay, I couldn't understand most of today's dialog. So here's a perhaps stupid suggestion. Record the show with the English for the hearing-impaired feature on, and we can have instant subtitles in English. I'm guessing your response will be that you don't have English for the hearing-impaired feature for this show. If you do, I'll bet the subtitles would be big enough to read on a wide screen. Heck, subtitles in any language with Roman script would help. My second choice would be Spanish.

Ok, well always good to see AJ even if it is short. Don't know what the writers have in mind with the whole Aaron babysitting Holly thing - especially since Adam asked a favor so he could get laid and effectively "cockblock" the boys. Best mate or no, Holly should be more Adam's responsibility since he was so hellbent on "protecting" her from Aaron. Adam, you owe Aaron big-time And Aaron, don't start lying for Holly. You better than anyone knows what lying can get you..
