That's mostly because on the dark sea, there was no raining, the causes of the bug is unknown, since they sometimes appear with no rain or appear normally. Though, having no rain is apparently something only certain people can see, and sometimes other people can just see rain.

Wait, did you fight a brig ship when you were sailing in the dark sea? If you did what did you do? Run away or attack? Cause those brig ship take amount ofnhealth of your ship

Fight them if you have full or half HP, run away if less, you can't really escaped from atlanters, no matter what or where you go from the dark sea, they find you. And because of that, you may as well just sink them and run around them in circle so that their siege doesn't hit you. After you sunk them, then just leave the atlanters alone if they are heavy or armored brigs. You can tell an atlanters ship is coming after you if there are a battle theme even though you are not in combat, so I recommend settings your in-game music high enough for you to hear.

What is the best thing to put warship on other then the sail?

Ideally, you'll want warship on everything if you want a nice, all-rounder ship build. Assuming ur using dragonfire carronades, you'll absolutely want warship dragonfire carronades because despite adding a whole 2 seconds to the reload time, it gives 0.5 damage and 0.5 range (Huge buff) That said, i'd prioritize it like this: Warship archaic cloth 1st Warship archaic hull 2nd Warship Dragonfire carronades 3rd Warship Ram 4th (Siege weapon enchantment is debatable. You could go for either warship, brisk, or amplified depending on which weapon u prefer)
