if you ahve both enchantments (Fortune and goldisght) i recommend to start with fortune and then use the goldisght shovek to mark where you already digged, if you use the goldsight irst the effects of the Fortune shovel wont apply.

Goldsight removes the radius of shovels, it’s super powerful in large areas like Ravenna where one piece of land covers an entire side of the island. Using it just to “mark where you’ve dug” would be useless

@@Siriu5m Shovels always go by the parts you dug, not radius, no matter its enchantment. All marking does is mark where you dug. However, goldsight both marks spots and increases luck (albeit not by much), so I still use it anyway.

@@sirmonke8946without the goldsight enchantment (not sure about marking as i haven’t used it) you have to dig at least every 2 row boats apart. Whereas with the enchant the piece of land you dug in and turns yellow does not need to be dug in again no matter the land piece’s size

@@Siriu5m You have no idea how treasure works. Each treasure has a specific part that you need to dig on in order to find the treasure. Digging anywhere on that part will give you the treasure no matter what enchantment you have, and so you only need to touch each part once. If you still disagree, then just know that you are doubting the entire wiki community as well.
