Wow that was so amazing. I became a Christian in the Canadian Army in 1986 because of Keith and Melody Green's music. It's been nearly 40 years since Keith, Josiah and Bethany went to be with the Lord. I sincerely think God for this music. They don't really make it like this anymore.

I grew up listening to Keith Green all the time in our house. My dad loved his music and played his cassette tapes and CDs all the time, so I heard every single song of his. As a child I always just thought he was another boring Christian singer. It wasn't until recently that I rediscovered Keith Green's music, and sometimes...I just have no words but tears. His songs are deep, the lyrics convicting, the messages challenging, uplifting, truthful, edifying, and I believe he was anointed by God in his talent. I haven't found another Christian musician who even comes close to him in total dedication to the Lord in every way. I've never felt so much conviction to repent from a Christian singer as I do with Keith's music. I've been listening to his songs on repeat for the last few week and every time they convict me in a deep way and make me want to repent fully, die to myself and live for Jesus. I once was that lost prodigal son. I rejected God and lived for myself for years of my adult life. Keith Green's ministry and music has helped bring me back to full repentance and a desire to live for Him. Thank you Keith for your dedication and love for Jesus, and for others.

Wow!! I was looking for something of Keith's -- and THIS popped up! I figured it was a total mistake because nobody -- like N.O.B.O.D.Y -- has ever even tried to cover this song that I know of.... As the orchestra started playing I was stunned as I'd heard Keith play it so many times -- and they had it down! (pass that on please :) Then I thought OK it's gonna be a symphonic version...and it sounds great. I wasn't expecting anyone to come out and sing... But no. Then YOU stepped out.. And just gave it all of your heart, I could feel it! You are one brave and very talented man! You totally blessed me:) Keith always said that this song was "his story" before he knew Jesus. So I pray that this will reach many other prodigals / searchers -- and bring them into the arms of their heavenly Father!. Jesus is waiting! -- Bless you Evin, stay strong and keep serving Jesus. Thanks, this song changed my life 30 years ago and it changed my life again today. My Father gave me a lot, it toke me 30 years to finish all He has given me. I'm on the way home now, with the knowledge that I have sinned and not deserve to be His son. This song reminds me, that if I repent the Father will let me in again. It's a long and hard way back.

Excellent performance. My only criticism is that it hews too closely to Keith Green’s original, when I’d really love to hear it delivered in a bold new style. That’s a common problem with covers, though; and a difficult feat for any piece of music, particularly one this complex. Great work!

@@nathanielchapman1829 not at all. We’d still have the original by Keith Green to appreciate. I know it’s not a universal position, but I love covers by artists with the vision to adapt a song to their voice and style. The “No Compromise” tribute album was a mostly successful effort in that direction with Green’s music, like The Jesus Album was for Rich Mullins.
