(S)he's smiling like my hugging frogs. Every time I have seen someone use the UV eyeballs, they have the torch. Even the torch I got from Let's Resin doesn't seem to work, even after new batteries, so I dispaired of ever having eyes. Thank you for showing I can. So adorable.

OMG! I AM NOW OBSESSED WITH THIS MOLD! SO STINKIN' CUTE! You really are my inspiration when it comes to this part of my life... Thank you SO very much for taking the time to make these videos. It's because of people like you, and Daniel Cooper that I was able to learn my craft! So, again... I thank you 🌹✌

Love it, Julie!! I really like the clear parts. It would be interesting to see eye colors that are in contrast to the body so they stand out. Love your work always!!

That’s absolutely beautiful. The clear resin parts reflect the holographic powder anyway so it’s not really noticeable that they’re clear. 🥰

The "fins" are actually the Axolotl's gills, and they have 4 toes in the front and 5 on the back feet.

I have this mold. I saw it on the Start Blooming KZbin channel. I did try to put the little 8mm dragon eyes in it. It did not work for me. But the Axolotl turned out beautifully in purples and green. My grandson was so surprised when I gave it to him for his birthday on Sunday. He loves all lizards and creepy looking things so this was very appropriate.

I love axolotls! I crochet them and they are just freaking adorable! You can use guilding glue or tack it glue and let it dry on resin that's cured when you want to dust with powder or use half cured UV resin to brush them and then cure it the rest of the way. I love the way this guy turned out and the clear is a great accent, if you will 💙

Hi Julie, any type of tack it glue would help get the powders stick to cured resin. It’s like the glues used for gold leaf, brush on, it dries clear but stays tacky. I love her. Too cute. ❤

@@LMde20 axolotl's actually DO appear to smile like that! They are the most adorable little salamander ever! Unfortunately, from what I've heard (which means it may or may not be true! 😉), their cuteness and relative ease to keep as a pet is making them move up the endangered list at a fast pace! 🥺

I wasn't sure, so I looked it up. What you were calling the fins, are actually the axolotl's gills. An axolotl, for those that want to know, is a type of salamander that never goes through metamorphosis to maturity.
