March is Women's History Month. The Human Relations Division of the City of Durham's Neighborhood Improvement Services Department sponsors this Women's Forum. This year the forum was moderated by Communications Director Beverly B. Thompson.
The panel consisted of:
1. Maralis Mercado Emerson, Clinical Research Coordinator at Duke University School of Nursing,
2. Giseli Ordonez Ochoa, Durham Public Schools Student,
3. Tessa Jackson, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Coordinator at Duke Nicholas School of the Environment,
4. Akeeya Umstead, Member of the Durham Mayor’s Council for Women,
5. Nicolette L. Cagle, Ph.D, Duke University Associate Dean of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
6. Anaja McClinton, Youth Involvement Program Coordinator at North Carolina Council for Women and Youth Involvement
7. Imanie Williams, Youth Consultant with the Durham Office on Youth
