I haven't seen this yet but I think the reason tom saw gilly & jaqui by accident that night is bc he's going to be a witness later--also I somehow believe gilly, I can't see him taking advantage of someone. it's like back when hannah accused him of touching her to cover up her eating disorder, and he said he was so hurt bc he would never do such a thing

Neither were lying. Gilly only realised he raped Jacqui months later and then apologised to her before leaving.
