Yes - in the ultimate sense, only God is Good. He did not learn to be good or "become" good, but rather is, in and of himself perfectly good. All others "learn" or gain goodness because of him. Jesus is the "good" Shepherd. But it is God made him to be shepherd over his people. Jesus then recognizes that there are many good men. He said, "A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things." (Matthew 12:35). Hope that helps a bit.

The problem with your worldview, sir, is that you interpret the bible as if the authors were obscuring the truth by using words that don't mean what they say. "This is written that you may know that Jesus is the Son of God" "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son" If you are so clear and deliberate with your words in order to avoid the possibility that someone may misunderstand you, why would you think that John did the opposite and deliberately said "Son of God" rather than "God" multiple times, while intending to say "God"?

You think that God is hiding truths from the people that He wants to save, and that the messengers that were sent to preach the Gospel were doing the exact same thing. "These were written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, and that by believing you may have life in His name". Life is at stake here. Jesus didn't come to obscure truths from people and then die for them leaving them in confusion. And His apostles didn't risk their lives so that they could spread "hidden truths in plain sight". They weren't instructed to risk their lives in order to be deliberately vague and obscure about who Jesus is and what He's done.
