The triggers in these are not very desired, they look like a Timney but are nothing like it. Also they cut the cocking piece at an angle where the trigger makes contact. Have a gunsmith setup a better trigger and it makes a huge difference. Also change the firing pin spring if its never been done. Nice looking rifle!

I will agree the trigger doesn’t break very consistently. It’s a friends rifle so it will be up to him what he changes on it. Thanks for watching.

only accurate rifles are interesting. fun day at the range though. why rebarrel 1:14 and limit yourself to 55grs?

If it were me doing a rebarrel yes I’d go with a 1-8 twist no less than 26” long. This rifle was simply rechambered not rebarreled hence the 1-14 twist.

This caliber doesn't look much different than the 220 swift that said keep your loads under 4000 fps or that barrel won't last long

It’s not a lot different than a swift. It has a few more grains if case capacity than the swift. I think it’s much better suited for heavier bullets over 65 grains.

@@Dmcquown all my Swifts have been 1in 14 twist which works good for bullets up to 55 grains . The swift I have now is a ruger 77mk2 it will shoot one hole group's at 100 yards with a 55 gr. Sierra game king at 3800 fps I use imr-4064 for powder . Deer don't like this load at all lol

Very strange that someone would do a 224" barrel in 1-14 rate of twist which is a terrible rate of twist that Highly limits the weight of bullets that can be used. I build and sell AR 10 uppers so one I do build and have sold is this 22-6mm Remington I used a Pac Nor super match barrel in 1-9 rate of twist so the guns owner can use a wide range of bullet weights.

This is the original factory barrel that someone reamed. A rebarrel is being discussed and a 1-8” 26” tube will probably replace this one if 22-6mm is the chosen chambering.
