Cooking with aluminum is the worst thing you can do to yourself, the hotter the aluminum gets the more aluminum gets into your food, kills your body from your brain down.

@@Funkteon "The occurrence of aluminum ions in food and especially secondary food contamination with aluminum represents the risk for consumers also since elements such as zinc, magnesium, and iron are essential for organism, and no scientific studies have indicated that aluminum plays an important role for a living organism (Schafer & Seifert, 2006; Stahl et al., 2018). Oppositely, aluminum intake represents a health risk, affecting hazardously nervous system, bones, and hemopoietic system (Becaria, Campbell, & Bondy, 2002)." "The significant (p < .05) differences between marinated and not marinated food samples, included in the research, are confirming findings that aluminum dissolution is dependent on pH, same as on temperature" "The hazardous side of aluminum foil used for food preparation and storage was also emphasized by the finding that aluminum content in food was increased during 1 to 3 days of storage in aluminum foil. " "The study is showing leakage of aluminum to food that was baked in aluminum foil, and the research is indicating that excessive consumption of food prepared by baking in aluminum foil can carry a health risk." NUTRITION Evidence Based Is It Safe to Use Aluminum Foil in Cooking? Written by Helen West, RD (UK) on April 27, 2017 Aluminum foil is a common household product that's often used in cooking. Some claim that using aluminum foil in cooking can cause aluminum to seep into your food and put your health at risk. However, others say it's entirely safe to use. This article explores the risks associated with using aluminum foil and determines whether or not it is acceptable for everyday use. What Is Aluminum Foil? Aluminum foil, or tin foil, is a paper-thin, shiny sheet of aluminum metal. It's made by rolling large slabs of aluminum until they are less than 0.2 mm thick. It's used industrially for a variety of purposes, including packing, insulation and transportation. It's also widely available in grocery stores for household use. At home, people use aluminum foil for food storage, to cover baking surfaces and to wrap foods, such as meats, to prevent them from losing moisture while cooking. People may also use aluminum foil to wrap and protect more delicate foods, like vegetables, when grilling them. Lastly, it can be used to line grill trays to keep things tidy and for scrubbing pans or grill grates to remove stubborn stains and residue. SUMMARY:Aluminum foil is a thin, versatile metal commonly used around the home, particularly in cooking. There Are Small Amounts of Aluminum in Food Aluminum is one of the most abundant metals on earth (1). In its natural state, it is bound to other elements like phosphate and sulfate in soil, rocks and clay. However, it's also found in small amounts in the air, water and in your food. In fact, it's naturally occurring in most foods, including fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, grains and dairy products (2)."

@@mybackyardparrots9198, you left out the most relevant section from the article, on cooking with aluminum. (See link below) Is It Safe to Use Aluminum Foil in Cooking? However, studies show that aluminum foil, cooking utensils and containers can leach aluminum into your food (6Trusted Source, 9). The amount of aluminum that passes into your food when cooking with aluminum foil is affected by a number of things, such as (6Trusted Source, 9): Temperature: Cooking at higher temperatures Foods: Cooking with acidic foods, such as tomatoes, cabbage and rhubarb Certain ingredients: Using salts and spices in your cooking However, the amount that permeates your food when cooking can vary. --snip-- Learn more at: www.healthline.com/nutrition/aluminum-foil-cooking
