Onions in my grocery store cost from $1-2 per pound (Southern California), so if you multiply that by 10 its from $10 to $20 for 10 pound bag depends on the kind of onions, probably even cheaper as you would be buying in bulk. I cook from scratch every day and worked 8 years in a Restaurant where everything was made from fresh produce. I stop buying burritos years ago. They give you 95% rice and beans and 5 % meat. In Mexico they do not even put rice in their burritos. It's a dam filler in the states.

I live in the North Bay and visited my local Mexican food restaurant recently. Something I haven't done in almost 2 years due to working nights and not normally being awake during their working hours. Living in the North Bay things were always somewhat expensive but the prices they were now charging were unbelievable. A carnitas quesadilla with a bottled coke was $26 dollars! This thing used to be about $14 last time I ordered it. I even ordered from the menu I have from a few years ago.
