This year 2019 I took my wife to Santiago De Compostela as she doesn't walk, I done 2 so far and Camino del Nord & Primitivo next April 2020. Someone unfortunately was hit by a car and die. I always walk on side facing the traffic, never with my back to traffic, in Portugal there is a lot of road walking.Watching your videos only makes hungry to complete more Camino's, thank you so much.

9:56 Talk about playing around on the Camino. When I got to that monument dummy thing, myself and fellow pilgrim using rocks practiced our fastballs and curve balls on the poor thing for about 15 minutes, lol. There wasn't anyone else around. I can just imagine if someone not familiar with baseball saw us winding up and pitching rocks at it, lol.

Great video. I enjoy the aerial view of Astorga that did not see while I was there. You have put a lot of work on your videos, first for carrying the drone and second for all the video production and editing. Great job! Astorga was the second most difficult days for me. Next ti e, I will include in my budget the massages 😉

Hello, I reached Santiago de compostela 26.6.17 after leaving St Jean 30 days earlier. Then went on to Finisterra and then over to Malaga and hiked in the mountains over there. I miss the Camino soo much! That is why i thank you for your honest depiction of your journey as it was very similar to mine. I am reliving many moments through your eyes. As you know its impossible to show every moment but i am enjoying your selections. I can't wait to see the rest. PS what date did you leave St Jean and what date did you finish? Melina

I've just returned from doing Astorga to Sarria with a charity. We stayed in the same albergue. Just going to review your videos of this part of the French Camino.

really enjoyed your journey to Astorga. Some beautiful aerial pictures! Did you find it as dangerous as I have been reading to walk on the road? Have you been finding enough watering holes along the way? Were your feet hurting from aching or blisters? Thanks again for sharing! Looking forward to day 23......Buen Camino!

Pam Czachor never felt unsafe on the entire trip. Walk on the left shoulder of the road and you shouldn't have a problem. I didn't get any mayor blisters other than a small one on my left big toe. They were aching from walking so much.

I have a question -- based on your experience, do we need to carry a sleeping bag? I have read that the Alburques provide sheets.

Mat Martin most of them do but in my case there were a few nights in April where it got really cold. Also in the summer bedbugs become a problem.
