Correction for you at 5:28 on video. The sign refers to the region of El Bierzo, part of the province of León. The village at this point is called El Acebo. It's a long winding route down to Molinaseca - but there are two routes. The longer but easier route is by road, the other route leaves the road and takes you along uneven hillside paths that can be hard going on the knees and ankles.

I like the bit of soft peach fuzz when it get past the rough stubble stage, as long as it is shaped well along the jaw line and off the neck. Once the beard starts becoming long enough to run your fingers through, its time to trim it back to a nice soft 1/4 inch or so.... thanks for sharing your journey....

13:23 That there's what commonly referred to as an eccentric bum, lol. A wanderer. Vagabond etc. Probably staying outside, or in donativo's and panhandling for euros. They have become more commonplace on the Frances these days, and I imagine they were on it during Medieval times.

Estoy muy bien. Hace un año que terminé el Camino. Entonces, fui a mirar algunos videos. Me pareció el suyo, recordé que nos habíamos conocido en Léon. Cuando fui a ver a los demás me encantó la calidad de su trabajo. Para mi sorpresa me vi en uno de ellos y dos de mis compañeros de caminata. También vi Francisco, otro brasileño, que lo encontré en Villafranca del Bierzo. Además de Fernando, que lo conocí en el albergue de San Nicolás y en la subida de O Cebreiro. Al ver sus vídeos me dio la voluntad de seguir mi proyecto: editar mi diario. Quien sabe un día lo publique.

My son loves castles, and he is very interested in the Templars, so this should prove to be a very welcomed little side trip on our camino. Did you walk through that red clay mud that I read about? I've heard that it just sticks to your shoes and makes you about 3 inches taller! Looked like this day was fairly inexpensive, also! Thanks again for sharing

Agree with favoring over-the-ankle hiking boots. They are heavier but reduce the risk of ankle sprains and they have a thicker sole which prevents your foot bottom from being bruised by all the little stones you step on. In the USA, serious young hikers who do the Appalachian Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail swear by trail runners. Which is fine when you're in your twenties. Question: do you have to tip when eating in bars and restaurants?
