How to squeeze more juice from lemon? Heat it up a bit in the microwave. How to fry bacon in the microwave? Put it in an inverted bowl. How to make a cappuccino? Beat the milk with a whisk and heat in the microwave. You get a milk cappuccino foam. How to cook an egg in the microwave? Break it into a glass, cover it with a plate and place it in the microwave for half a minute. How to quickly peel a tomato? Make cuts on it and put it in the microwave.
How to dry wet jeans quickly? That's right - in the microwave. How to fit in the microwave two plates? Use the mug. How to clean the microwave? Use a lemon. Using a microwave, you can dry herbs, cook cinnamon rolls, bake potatoes, peel garlic easy and cook soft meringues.

Absolutely‼️ I agree NO metal! My husband once tried to reheat his coffee in a new travel mug (usually @ 80% for 45-60 seconds). He looked away for a few seconds when he heard noises from microwave. The metallic writing on the mug started a fire inside, & flames were already shooting out the back of the unit. Just that quick... If he walked out of the kitchen for 30 seconds, well, who knows. The countertop & the entire side of my frig was black w soot!! And of course, the microwave didn't survive. We've always been careful...but it surely was a good lesson learned.

Depends on the age of the microwave. The newer ones will melt clothing and it doesn't help anything dry or iron or whatever the latest con is but the old ones are spectacular. Poor towns could collect old microwaves and throw metal in them. Start them all up at once and you'd have reasonable flash and noise for a small town to enjoy on the 4th.

I actually almost destroyed our microwave when I mistakenly thought the cooking timer was the regular timer and turned it on, with nothing in it, for several minutes when it just stopped altogether. I unplugged it and let it cool down and it worked again.

@ 5:03 Cinnamon it looks like you put 1/4 cup Flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 cup milk Rolled out Put Cinnamon and brown sugar then made the icing. What did you put on top of the Cinnamon roll just before you put it in the microwave for 90sec.? It really would be nice if you put the instructions, how much ea. Ingredients in your info section. Well a quarter cup of flour and a quarter cup of milk just made a cake mix-like batter for me so I added the sugar and cinnamon to it, put a teaspoon of oil in the cup, poured in the batter and cooked it one minute at 900w and got cinnamon lava cake!! Added cream on top--just as nice!

I watched this yesterday and I used the bowl hack last night. One bowl on the bottom and the other on top of my mug. Worked fantastic! **The segment showing the blue jeans with metal rivets in the microwave is irresponsible. The arcing from the metal sparks and burst into flames. That part of the video needs to be edited out. No one should show any metal in microwave hack.

@@koff41 I accidentally put something with a metal lid into a microwave once. It was foil with plastic on the outside. There were sparks. Serious sparks. Like on the verge of starting a fire. We also have some dishes with a small bit of gold trim on them. Those also caused sparks. It is not safe to put metals of any kind in a microwave. Every manufacturer's label I've read says the same thing. Personally, I am not going to risk starting a fire or ruining my unit.

*CAUTION* with the popcorn! ... Do NOT walk away! 5 minutes could be too long for your microwave... Stop as soon as there are no more kernels popping within one or two seconds of each other. If left even a few seconds too long, the popcorn burns and can ruin your microwave.
