This bike is a legend. I have one a Cb400sf Revo 2020 limited Silver. and I'm keeping it for a lifetime. When the VTEC hits, Man no one can replace that. ❤️

So sad they didn’t make a new version of it, Honda actually just announced the discontinuation of this and the VFRs two days ago, goodbye to a legend.

Great video, this is the first bike I've owned. Just got mine used last year and the news of its discontinuation was kinda sad but expected. I intend to hold onto it for as long as possible, really love the exhaust note especially with an aftermarket exhaust.

I have an NC42... this bike puts context to the saying '(it's better) riding a slow bike fast v's a fast bike slow'. If you have some riding skill, this bike is such a great experience. Beginners looking at newer, expensive and cheaper built twins that look track ready with their crazy fairings, must be uninformed not to try this imo. On paper, it's a mistake to judge it on specification alone. Honda got it right... and you are right... there is no need to change. The 400 punches above it's weight (a quick, very willing 400) and acts like a bigger capacity bike in that v-tec range. They made it so good, simple and fit for purpose.

So sad this is the end of the line, was hoping for a refresh after EU5, but no we didn’t even get a final edition😭
@hello.gumption2 жыл бұрын
@@WilliamInJP It is sad. There is something special about the CB400 range. It just hits the sweet spot as an enjoyable motorcycle (ease of use, able to grow with rider, performance in-line 4, simplicity, durable, cheap, aftermarket support, big 18L tank). I'm not sure if Japanese companies are interested in small performance bikes now that an ecu module can be detuned / or throttle input modified to suit all riders. I hoped for Honda to simply trim the weight, stiffen the front fork and just stay with the same recipe, giving us a hyper vtec 400 for years to come... It probably costs too much to have the 300 single, 650r and 400 competing for sales. A future classic for sure.

My pipe dream, which I dream about very often... Everything about this bike is beautiful and perfect. What a pity that I have already lived most of my life and my dream will never come true. Here in Ukraine, I didn’t even see my dream... I looked and imagined myself on this bike... This sound... The wind... These most beautiful shapes of this bike, all this is simply mesmerizing... It really hurts me that it's not me...

@@WilliamInJP Thank you very much for your kind words of support. But we are at war now in Ukraine. Russian savages came to kill us, destroy our homes. They steal our children and take them to Russia. About 700 thousand have already been taken away. This is savagery in the 21st century!!! It’s very difficult for us now and we need to think about how to survive. Therefore, my dream will remain just a dream... Thank you very much again for your support. Good luck
