Overall monfils is the fastest on the atp tour but Rafa’s initial burst of speed is the best I’ve ever seen. Even right now at this age where he has slowed down tremendously he is still a top 10 in that category. And special mention to Alex de minaur, he’s awesome too.

If Nadal’s burst of speed is faster than Monfils, he’s overall faster than Monfils. Monfils’ endurance is terrible, far below average, so he clearly can’t keep running longer than Nadal, who can keep running for 5 sets straight

One of my favorite! And many of Rafa;s forehands down the line on the run too... and when we talk about speed some of the shots of Fed from his atheltic prime 2003-2007 are missing too. We tend to forget how fast he used to be. And where is James Blake?
