I was spanked as a kid. I'm a successful lawyer with a great wife and kid. Have never touched a hair on my wife and only spank my kids when it's necessary. And my kids don't act like brats in public. Your theory is the reason that breaking into homes is the new stealing candy bars.

I was never spanked. I grew up to be a teacher who never robbed a house or stole candy. Is my personal anecdote proof that you are wrong that spanking is at all “necessary”, or are personal anecdotes not good evidence of anything?

Violent crimes aren't becoming more common now than they used to be. They just seem to be getting more common because they are more common because they are easier to know about with access to information.

Call the cops or CPS, please don't let this mistreatment continue, please tell someone please, I feel worry just reading that, there is way more evidence than what's presented here about it's harm and it harms in ways most don't even know about, I seriously hope you are never hit again for rest of your life.

ROFL I would hardly call spanking a childhood abuse if you grew up in the 1950's as I did you would know all about what childhood abuse is and I am a survivor of that a spanking "never hurt no one" made boys into men!

Spanking IS abuse. The fact that it isn’t as bad as other potential abuses doesn’t change that.
