Throw that bolt back like you mean it! Short-jacking it is part (at least) of what's causing your ejection problems. Those things are meant to be run hard.
@TNRay4 ай бұрын
No, I’m not “short-jacking” the action. It’s running all the way to the catch every single time. Sure, I could run the bolt a little harder but I’m not shooting for time in these videos. Thanks for the comment though

Waxier rounds sometimes have minor FTF/FTE issues in cooler weather (CCI, Aguila, RWS/Norma, etc.) with my CZ. "Flicking" the bolt can help a bit on the FTE side. Also, sanding/polishing down the serial number on the bolt (if you haven't already) can make that "flick" smoother.

I would bet the majority of your ES was due to that clean bore. If you'd started averaging your data after about 10 rounds, I bet your SD and ES would be much lower.
@TNRay2 ай бұрын
Yeah probably, clean bore and cold bore could both be the culprit.

I just tested that ammo and did not have the groups that you’re getting.

Did you have better or worse groups?

Love the Book of Matthew, I was named after Matthew. Wow, with a higher ES, you'd think your groups wouldn't be so ridiculously Amazing. A 0.33" group is Amazing, Nice Work. Thanks for running the Matthew's Fabrication Cheek Riser, we truly appreciate your support. That’s great, the true and living gospel must continue to be shared! I was extremely surprised with my groups, I would imagine pushing out to 100 yards or further, the groups would fall apart due to the severe velocity differences. Thanks for making a great product, and I appreciate you watching and sharing!
@MatthewsFabrication5 ай бұрын
@@TNRay I totally agree, needs to be shared. I bet it'll still be a surprisingly good group at 100 yards, but only testing it out will tell. You're more than welcome for sharing & watching. Very enjoyable content

Is the cheek riser drilled 😮 into the wood stock?
@TNRay3 ай бұрын
Yes indeed, it is. It’s extremely secure and solid, no worries about it moving or shifting

@@TNRay I don't think I could drill mine. 😨 Although, I think I do need one. I have to ponder on that for a spell.
