I gave up on US target ammo almost 10 years ago. It's all crap compared to what the Brits and Germans make, and it pains me to say this because the older guys who had experience with much older Federal Gold Medal Match remember it fondly. Same can be said for the old Winchester and Remington 22lr rifles. You have to get into the domestic, high end, custom equipment spending thousands of dollars to match the performance of the old 52 and 40 series.

I like the CCI Standard Velocity idea. Do we get a handicap if we use Golden bullets or Winchester white box 🤣

Works only if your pet rifle "likes" CCI Std Velocity. All my rifles are very picky about ammo and tend to like expensive match ammo. Some brands scatter like birdshot, for no apparent reason.

I shoot alot of the cci standard 1070 because that is close to as fast as i can shot and still be Suppressed. And I find it to be extremely accurate. Norma tac-22 is only 13 feet A second faster and shoots good but the ammo is a little Greasy.
