Porky cursing is from a real cartoon released by Warner Bros. Back then, cartoons weren't seen as for kids, and had a higher age demographic, which is why stuff like that was allowed.
@bluestreaker92425 сағат бұрын
I can believe it. They and Tom & Jerry also had plentiful references to gangs, tobacco & alcohol, and prostitution and the like (old cartoons were VERY thirsty when you really get right down to it >;3). Kinda crazy how much times have changed. With there being "adult cartoons", it's almost as if we've come full circle in a way. :3

The clip at the end of porky pig swearing is real, and was part of a blooper reel that was made in 1939, but it wasn’t shown to the public until the 70s.

So the reason Soos was bein a bit odd in the car with Grunkle Stan is because Soos never had a father, and so he’s super attached to Stan because he’s sees Stan as a father figure he never had. They actually say in the episode Blendin’s Game that Soos hates his birthday because his real father never showed up after multiple promises to come back.

The porky pig one was a real thing, just never aired. it was an outtake that got animated as a blooper for fun, from what ive been told anyway. while recorded in the 1920's i think, it wasnt actually publicly seen till like, i think the 1970's but im not entirely sure of the dates.

As a big fan of those JL and JLU cartoons, I do want to say that 1:15 has some _very_ important context. At that point, Green Arrow and Black Canary were already somewhat involved. I forget to what extent at that time, but they were more than strictly "coworkers." Green Arrow was actually a pretty stand-up guy in that series. I mean, he let himself get beat half to death to save her mentor (Wildcat 😂) even after he was an insufferable ass. Edit: I love how many clips there are from JL, JLU, and Batman Beyond. Those, and some of the other animated series from around the late 90s and early 00s, were some formative stuff for me. And they hold up pretty well 25 years on.

Hey Scotty, great to see another video with you and Panda! 😊 I also wanted to answer a question you and Panda had in your Robot Chicken Reaction video. In the skit with Morgan Freeman, it was voice actor Tom Kane (the voice of The Narrator and Yoda from Clone Wars, Professor Utonium and Him from Powerpuff Girls, and Darwin from The Wild Thornberrys to name a few) doing the impersonation. He was known to do a great Morgan Freeman impression. Unfortunately, he retired from voice acting recently because of a stroke. One of his last roles was reprising his various Star Wars voice roles in the "Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga" video game.

so fun fat, that scene of Porky Pig saying son of a bitch at the end of this video was an actual cartoon Warner Brothers made back in the 1940s. Warner Brothers made quite a lot of wild cartoons during the 1940s as well as part a Government paid project for the military. We got some pretty wild cartoons from Warner back then including quite a few written by Dr Sues for the military and they were not child friendly in the slightest

Just remember...don't molest the bears. (quote from an honest-to-god Disney cartoon involving Donald Duck; yes, "molest" used to have a different connotation, but nowadays...yeah, no... XD) I just love video compilations like these because it makes me wanna go back and rewatch those shows from a new more mature (well, marginally, anyway, lol XD), more knowledgeable perspective and see what flew over my head as a kid. The shit they got away with in The Animaniacs is just insane. XD
