@@CHASINGTYWILSON 1)Never invest in pitchers, running backs, and wide receivers long term. 2) Most new release modern cards and players actually go down in value. 3) Define your PC from your selling inventory and don’t “cross the streams”. If you are also a collector it can get really tough at times to separate the 2 (pc and inventory)

I have been binge watching the channel as I list cards tonight, Really awesome videos with some straight up tips and advice Ty!! I just started my ebay store a week ago just doing low end NASCAR cards and I have already made 11 orders, and your videos have encouraged me to do more posts than I already am. I feel there's a ton of money incoming to the sports card industry. God bless you!! I bet you guys are going to have a record breaking year. 🙏

Excellent advice, I only sell to reinvest in my PC. Unfortunately have tons of dead inventory from buying into breaks & buying new sealed product when in releases. The thrill on opening/chasing hits is hard to pass. But does give me opportunity to sell to buy what I want/like. ANGELS for me PC rookies, jersey numbered cards or if it's numbered 24 of whatever being 24 is my number. Thanks for sharing advice.

Thanks Ty. I juyst signed up for your email list. I have a nice collection from about 1973-1992 I pretty much have everything. Im going to just keep 1 of each and sell the rest, mostly cards in the1-10 dollar range. Do you (when selling) think its best to group lots by player or by year. I list my 7 extra 1980 Nolan Ryan nrmt-mt cards as a single lot, how much (x6) should I raise the price vs. recent comps?

I do sell on occasion, but I probably should sell on a more regular basis. #12 is very important when it comes to selling. Comps don’t always measure up for either party. #14 can be the key to it all….making relationships. That is good for both parties. All the other tips are spot on, Ty. Thanks for taking the time to share. There is one eBay store I’m glad I discovered…..Chasing Cardboard!

Thank you for the video. Enjoy your content. I am a smallish side hustle seller but I am at the point where I have too much inventory. Would you suggest I just stop buying for a while so I can just list and sell? I see good buying deals all the time. I struggle not to buy it.
@CHASINGTYWILSON2 ай бұрын
I really try to follow the... if it's not going to hit my store and sell within 90 days, it's not a buy for me. But that's my risk tolerance.

Ty-can you answer this question about vintage grading at what is it safe to say that you should grade all of the big names regardless of condition for example if I’ve got a stack of Willie Mays and Hank Aaron cards. Wouldn’t I want to get those graded regardless of condition?Because a SGC one is better than a raw Willie Mays? Or is it still condition based where you should only grade the higher conditioned ones?
@CHASINGTYWILSON13 күн бұрын
If you are reselling, I’d always default to grading top HOF’ers. Not just because it makes it easier to sell, but because it prevents you from returns and negative feedback on condition.
@skipthebase13 күн бұрын
@ Solid! I appreciate the advice.

I bought 25,000 cards and just started the grading process! This week I will have 44 cards graded! One and lost! I am sending out 25 more! I believe spending a couple of months getting graded cards and not selling anything! Build graded cards inventory 1st before selling

May just be the best damn vid you've ever done! Glad you focused on TAXES. Folks, I am a dealer in collectibles (sorry...no sports stuff....and if any.....very, very little...ie. if I EVER have any, I got some sport stuff by accident) and I CANNOT express enough that you should take TAXES as serious ....as a heart attack. YOu don't want Uncle Sam coming after you. It's easier to deal with The MOB, then the IRS.

I’m curious what you think about taking time to scan and list common type cards. I’m more inclined to just sell anything I don’t specifically want in bulk for cheap.
@CHASINGTYWILSON2 ай бұрын
I'd say follow your gut on that one. My personal preference is to NOT deal with anything less than $5. The margins shrink, it's a bulk game, and frankly the buyers of that inventory are much harder to please. Bulk is definitely a better option there... but again, personal preference on this one. I know a lot of great sellers who make a solid bankroll just selling sub $5 cards. I'd lose my mind. ;-)
@williamdunlapwaxnews2 ай бұрын
Should just send to comc if your selling that stuff.
