Hi prof. Trost, and thanks for your inspiring videos! I have a question about MDS. Let's imagine we don't have a single similarity measure but a whole Big-5 personality profile. Thus, each couple of individuals has 5 points in which they could differ or be similar (be them Agreeableness, Extraversion, Openness, Conscientiousness, Neuroticism). How could we perform MDS? Could we assume that the similarity measure to be used in the matrix is the average correlation between the two personality profiles? I very much hope you'll answer my question. My warmest regards.
