To clarify a point I don't think I quite made clear. The Gaisma site is wonderful for getting a good visual understanding of the sun path, but when finding out what fixed angle is best for your part of the world, I'd recommend something like PVWatts. I don't think I explained it that well. I was trying to demonstrate on Gaisma the difference in energy from each panel on that day, and what the ideal angle would have been at that moment in time (around noon). Calculators like PVWatts are much better at calculating the best angle overall if fixed, or best angle for each month/season.
