If you play on PC you could simply hold the button used for petting your animals instead of clicking on each one individually. this will also avoid the popup :D

I play with a controller and just hold the button down, it pets all of them as i move though the crowd.

Yep. Just hold the pet button and hover over the pets. With a controller you just walk around the pets and they all get auto petted if you're holding the pet button.

Horses are very sensitive to your emotions. If you're hyped up on coffee maybe you let them go as fast they want. You've been holding them back.

If you don't like pop-up stuff from trying to pet all your animals, just hold down the button. Moving your cursor over unpetted animals while close enough will automatically pet them, and will gather any eggs, feathers, etc, too. All without the chance of a mis-click.

@@mGaud2 I know you don't really do this kind of stuff but do you know how to help me with this problem? Every few weeks, stardew valley switches between working fine, and taking 20 minutes to load every menu just to crash when I enter a saved file. I've tried reinstalling, going into files and deleting things, I've even emailed Eric himself and I still have no luck making it work. It just... decides whether or not it feels like it, and it sucks because it usually doesn't work when I really want to play but DOES work when I can't/don't want to

For the ginger ale one, you can just eat a ginger and still lose the nausea effect.

For the petting animals, just hold right click and don't let go until you've pet every animal, same effect without needing the hay.

You do eventually get 500 gold from your parents as a male, but it takes longer (I imagine it may be from getting to 10,000 accumulated gold rather than 5k)

I can explain the horse thing, in general horses have 3 different walking methods. Walking, trot and gallop. But there are different types of gallop to, when a horse is coming from trot to gallop and changing the walking method it’s galloping much slower then at it’s normal gallop. But you can communicate to a horse to be at that speed. You can also communicate to a horse to run at their full speed that often can be faster. So when you drink coffee you have enough energy to hold yourself up on the horse while it’s galloping in full speed. You are a town person that never touched a horse before and galloping with a horse at full speed is not as easy as in lighter gallop.
