I really didn’t like the fact that he changed from uploading 3 times a week (mon, wed, fri) to only twice a week (tues, thur) but even still not only does he upload way more frequently than most other channels but his videos r also way way longer than most so even with the switch from 3-2 times a week he still provides us with plenty of top notch content and like u said since he does it himself instead of using AI it makes me appreciate him and all the hard work he does that much more

I just wanna say I listen to alot (and I mean A LOT (over 1700 hours a year)) of creepy/true eerie story youtube videos/podcasts. And Lets Read is by far the best. It blows my mind how this guy isnt the most popular channel. The quality, video length. Consistent voice and pitch, the eerie music. I can go on and on. This guy deserves way more attention than he has.

I feel so bad for the kid in the subway story. I can't imagine feeling that terrified and alone, especially as a child - and I hope their life has been peaceful since then. And yeah, I know it could be fake...but on the off-chance it isn't, that's so messed up.

The use of the phrases “ he was stood..” or “ I was sat..” are written that way by Joel( Let’s Read). Most people would say “ he was standing..” or “I was sitting..”, but Joel ALWAYS “fixes” the stories. It drives me nuts b/c it doesn’t sound right to me. Isn’t it crazy that even though it was the man that called the cops and told them he was stabbed and even made sure to tell the dispatcher that he was stabbed and he’s only on top of his wife to stop her from attacking him and yet the cops just completely disregard that and immediately tackle him anyway even though they know that he is wounded and they can make the injury worse or even fatal, and they also completely ignore his warning that she’s gonna attack them which big surprise she does. Then even after they get all the details (again) and know that he didn’t beat her and he did nothing wrong and he’s in fact the victim for some reason they still want to arrest him and the only reason he wasn’t arrested by the dumbest cops to ever wear a badge is because their boss has a brain.

The people coming from Penn State to Arizona, the Petrified National Park is always closed after work hours and the only people who can enter the park are the employees who live within the park and they have to punch in a code at the gate and it’s always been that way. Hmm 🧐, got me thinking. I know this because my late dad worked there for many years. My mother worked there when I was a baby and I have vague memories of living there and I must’ve been 3 or 4, definitely before my preschool days.

2:24:56 This tops all the problematic things this person has written so far. NO! Call the cops and let them figure out where the source of the noise is exactly, then close the window if you can't stand it, but this person made ALL the wrong choices. Not calling the cops, continuing to listen, talking to a neighbor to get some good gossip, purposefully ignoring the victim, and then taking away the lesson that next time in a similar situation, they would still not call the cops, but just close the window and pretend nothing is wrong. What an absolute lack of self-reflection and what an unbelievably strange conclusion to come to!

I assisted coaching kids soccer as well as played when a teenager for 7 years, and some of the fathers were maniacs!! The coach of my team when l was younger, actually had to pause the game once to tell a father that either he stop berating his daughter, while she played, that she would only allow positive encouragement and cheering, or he would be made to leave! They can just get crazy and very hurtful and scarring to their kids! Ugh! (Just a little braggery, we were 1st place 6 years in a row!)😉😃 Girls New Hope Solebury Community girls team in Pa.

This narrator sounds exactly like the guy from the urmaker YT channel. I wouldn't be surprised if this is urmaker at all

I may have commented for the NYC one before in a diff video however I'm a native New Yorker yes we get weird shot but never do they follow you. They actually normally harras others but also ppl do speak up ik it seems like most don't but someone usually does. I mean good story but I find it highly unlikely
