Isn’t it crazy that even though it was the man that called the cops and told them he was stabbed and even made sure to tell the dispatcher that he was stabbed and he’s only on top of his wife to stop her from attacking him and yet the cops just completely disregard that and immediately tackle him anyway even though they know that he is wounded and they can make the injury worse or even fatal, and they also completely ignore his warning that she’s gonna attack them which big surprise she does. Then even after they get all the details (again) and know that he didn’t beat her and he did nothing wrong and he’s in fact the victim for some reason they still want to arrest him and the only reason he wasn’t arrested by the dumbest cops to ever wear a badge is because their boss has a brain.

I would also recommend the Tape Library, Be.Busta, and Lazy Masquerade as well, at least as far as good “background listening” type videos. There are some other great “horror” youtubers like Wendigoon, Papa Meat/Meatcanyon, Scary Interesting, Bizzarebub, and TheExploringSeries. I’m subbed to all of the channels I’ve recommended! Quinn’s Ideas also has a fantastic youtube channel. He focuses more on scifi and fantasy subjects, most of his videos are about Dune and Game of Thrones. But he’s also really into H.P. Lovecraft and cosmological horror, so he’s made videos about existential scifi books like Annihilation and The 3 Body Problem. Anyway if any of this interests you check it out!

I feel bad for the guy who got attacked by his date but what really stands out to me is that men are not constantly in fear for their life when going on a first date. They haven't been training their whole lives to see red flags. As much as I love women and am way more comfortable with them than men there is still no way.... I could maybe see myself being persuaded to go into the house by a cute date, especially if it's been awhile (which, I mean, it has) but even then, I doubt I continue on once I realized where she wanted to take me and nope, no way in hell is someone restraining me on a first date. As a mom to a boy, it's actually kind of scary how men aren't attuned to red flags because it's so unexpected from women. My son is definitely being raised a feminist and that includes, women can be scary terrible people too. Statistics are on their side but you still gotta remain vigilant, especially on a first fucking date with someone you just met. Terrifying.

The people coming from Penn State to Arizona, the Petrified National Park is always closed after work hours and the only people who can enter the park are the employees who live within the park and they have to punch in a code at the gate and it’s always been that way. Hmm 🧐, got me thinking. I know this because my late dad worked there for many years. My mother worked there when I was a baby and I have vague memories of living there and I must’ve been 3 or 4, definitely before my preschool days.
