Story 3 no way would I just be ok with my boyfriend not Telling me what he saw and just let it go unspoken 15 years.
@whatsreal832 ай бұрын
It's her husband. I'm assuming that he doesn't want her to know out off fear of her having nightmares or suffering the way he is. I'm wondering if he overheard something that they possibly assulted and un alived a woman. ❤ I'm not trying to be disrespectful to you either. 2 years ago my 21 year old daughters ex bf texted my daughter to ask her to ask me if I had spoken to his father in the last 5 days. I said no. I had spoken to him 7 days ago. I then texted my daughters ex bf and said what's going on? He said not to worry about it and he was going over to his father's house. I lived down the road from his father and we were friends. I said f this and tried calling his father. Phone would ring once then it would decline my call. Extremely unlike him to do that. I walked down to his house. His vehicles were in the driveway, but one was missing. I walked in the house, looked around yelling his name. No response. His wallet was on the table open. I then walked to the backyard yelling his name. I looked down the hill and began screaming and crying. He was laying facedown with his eyes open. He was purple and blue. He was gone. It was during winter also. I heard snow crunching and I looked up the hill. My daughters ex bf was saying my name and I screamed at him to stay there. Don't come down here, you don't need to see your father like this. He didn't listen to me and we sat in the snow crying together and this poor kid 23 years old letting out this screams ill never forget. 😢we called the police. I would of given anything for him to not have seen his father that way. Sometimes in certain situations you want to protect those you love and care about. Sometimes not knowing something isn't the end of the world. ❤

Idk why OP thought it was a good idea to even share a story like that and never reveal what happened. No one deserves to be bullied online... but that person - they sure as hell do. How dare they leave us hanging like this? I want revenge.
@Clifford7772 ай бұрын
Yeah that aspect of the story was really annoying and I’m almost 100% sure fake because of that as well as how the husband apparently is still so scarred even 15 years later. If it were something that serious and that deep no way the wife would never bring it up again, and why would he not have called the cops and reported whatever he saw? And what would make someone scarred for life like that? It’s clearly a fake story. I’ve listened to these for a while now and idk why this story annoyed me so much haha.

I live in southern Europe and American yards are so strange to me. Anyone who lives in a house here has stone walls, metal gates and steel fences surrounding their houses. Unless someone vaults into your yard, they cannot get to your front door. And mind you, we have nowhere near the level of crime you get in America.

If you could protect someone you loved from knowing something that would scare them and make them fearful for the rest of their lives, would you? I believe that he definitely overheard them talking about assaulting and un aliving a woman. Especially since he called the police when he got home. The husband is probably fearful that one of the people will find out who reported them. I tried to protect my daughters ex bf from seeing his deceased father after I found him. He wouldn't listen to me though. Now 2 years later he still has nightmares.

To the person of story 9, I think you did the right thing because as a mom myself, protecting that child and getting that child out of a possibly dangerous situation was the most important thing. To me you did everything right in that situation. I also respect your decision whether you have children in the future or not, it's not easy and it's scary and can be a bit expensive to raise kids, but I won't lie it's worth it, but again that's your decision and yours to make. If you don't have kids you can definitely spoil your nephew.

To the gal who babysat the 7 yr old boy. You did the RIGHT thing by NOT calling the authorities. By the time the cops got there the woman would have been long gone and the family is left with a paper report that does not protect anyone. Similar to a protection order. It is more for a future court date to use as evidence but the paper DOES NOT protect a potential victim. Help can never reach you in time to prevent you from becoming a victim, only you can do that until help comes if that's what you rely on. The child would not of comprehended the situation like an adult would bc he only knows what he has experienced from his environment thus far. Children are very tuned in to the adults anxiety, fears, anger, sadness etc even when it seems they are not paying attention, they are, bc it affects their security though they don't understand that is why. You prevented him being traumatized, constantly in fear of some woman looking through his window that could of lead to nightmares to being afraid of his own shadow if he knew how scared you were. Hearing a story and living the story are two different things and is why some people hang onto childhood fears into adulthood and those who learn to be aware of their surroundings but not fearful...
