220 Gallon Cichlid Tank Water Change With Pond Pump

I got a used pond pump to try out to make my water changes go faster. I still need to get a piece of 1.5" hose to run into the tank so I can use it on all my tanks since I don't want cross contamination. The 2000gph is overkill even for the the 220. The bigger the hose the faster it flows. The brand is trupow and seems to get the job done. The price I paid ($25) was cheaper than even the smaller models since I got it used.
