The worst parts about it that most people miss imo 1. If Georgia Tech really wanted to, they could have scored MUCH more this. 2: Cumberland’s law school (where they got all their “players” in this game) was sold after this. This could have legitimately fucked up people’s law careers. 3: The only reason why this happened is because George Allen was a cheating idiot and John Heisman was good enough and spiteful enough to do this. The law students that got injured and humiliated were the only ones here who were innocent of any wrong doing, and they got punished as if they did.

I feel like people were just starting to treat concussions seriously as I was growing up; I remember it being a big talking point in middle school for the people who were into sports. I'm still astounded that Cumberland's quarterback managed to get knocked unconscous three times in one game, mostly because I'm surprised he survived the second.
