I am a 37 year old living alone in South Africa. I absolutely love listening to your stories and now your testimony. This is it? I can't believe how this is so true. The day I had my wreck,I saw it coming and knew it was my time. I had time in that split second to say to God " this is it?" As clear as if God was with me in that car I heard,"No not today" I'll never forget this ever. After taken to the hospital I did realize it was time to change my life. I did have a purpose .I have spent the rest of this life thankful and grateful.

There was no time for anything. No time to cry, or scream, or get nervous, and say ‘why me?’ I was calm, with my hands squeezing the steering wheel and calmly said, “This is it!” And the car stopped! I watched the giant 18-wheeler pass before my eyes.

Hi Granny Pat. Thank God you got out of that one! You know I live in Michigan & it’s really bad here right now. The roads are ALL ice. And yes I’m in the Medical Field. I had to come to work but I was the slowest driver on that Highway! Those silly people were going 80 plus miles an hour around me. The fear I had for 45 minutes of driving was real! And I had a few Miracles I have witnessed of my own. I absolutely do believe. 🙏❤️

Yes, that sure was a miracle. I’ve had two miracles. One my car going backwards and going over a ditch just missed hitting the mobile home. My son was 6/7 when that happened. I was barely getting out to scrap window and bang my car rolled down our driveway. Never hit the mobile home. Whew. One time coming home from work we had to go around the bin which was had a wall on one side and a guy almost knocked me into the wall. I kept honking and honking and finally he moved but, it was A very close call. I was up in the foot hills working as a nanny and had to take the kids to a Mexican restaurant in town where she was. She owned two restaurants and was a manager of one. Made good money. But I had to go up hill to get out of the driveway and slide almost went over the mountain side Very steep drop . It was snowy and icy. A huge tree was there and I hit the tree trunk and it stopped me. I was so scared! My heart was racing. I drove so slow down the winding and snowy mountain. I mean I crawled down the mountain till I got to the main road. All I said was whew! Mom had 4 wheel and never took a day off for snow ever. Expected me there. Wasn’t her concern if it was slick and dangerous. Have a great week pat.

Portsmouth New Hampshire here. In New Hampshire in the past we had VERY snowy winters and I was on the road frequently due to necessity. This year along our coastlines up into Maine we are dealing with very different conditions. The flooding is pretty bad. Your story brought me to tears Pat when I think of situations in my own life when I know God had intervened because the situation was out of my control. My daughter’s life for one. I have lost family members, including children, to road accidents and you always wonder why. Ultimately you realize there are SO many things in this life we don’t understand. We must move forward regardless . I am also now retired and the words you spoke are mine also. Finally I can enjoy a snowstorm and snowballs. Isn’t it LOVELY, this aspect of social media. I had a similar experience but in the rain, going sideways into a semi in the lane next to me...I turned into it and somehow managed to regain control but I still don't understand how. Cars whipping around me left and right, speeding by...I just started crying right there and then I took side roads all the way back home. Thank God you are safe, Granny Pat! My son was driving a dump truck on 1-40 when the front passenger tire blew out, the truck rolled 3 times, he was thrown out thru the broken out windshield and onto the motor, a couple stopped and got him off the motor and wrapped his forehead in the lady's shirt, he had 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his R arm and leg to his toes , no broken bones , he was treated and released from the ER, spent 5 wks being treated for burns in the burn clinic at children's hospital .. God laid him on that motor and kept that truck from landing on him, God did that, yes, I believe in miracles

I have a story that still perplexes me. My daughter and I were deep in the woods in Mammoth Lakes in the High Sierras. We had taken the wrong trail to return to the tram. The trail abruptly ended. I didn’t panic but wanted to. Just kept heading upward. We then came upon a very large sign WARNING YOU ARE ENTERING THE BACK COUNTRY OF YOSEMITE NATIONAL FOREST. THERE ARE NO FOREST RANGERS. I felt we would surely die from exposure (not a soul knew where we were) or get killed by bears. We had no weapons, no jackets, no food. It was to be a lovely afternoon site seeing trip down to a waterfall. I felt responsible to get us out of there. It was getting to be late afternoon. I stood there in terror. No trail????Just kept going upward. Don’t talk. Don’t cry. Don’t show fear. NOTE: We ended up on that particular trail bc someone on the original trail told us it was not as steep but longer if we veered off to the new trail. We thot it was a good choice. Wrong. It was probably a mile or more longer. I hiked hard in fear so hard upward and it was fairly steep. I hiked for our lives. Where the ability to hike that hard came from I’ll never know. The trail finally reappeared. Thankful beyond belief. I felt lucky I was able to find the power to be strong bc am 22 years older than my athletic daughter and I am a woos! I got to the top and she was way down behind me and out of breath saying “Mama, how did you beat me? How did you do it?” The LAST tram was nearly full and ready to leave. Here we came, straggling. The last two ppl. Oh my God thank you for giving me the ability to get us out. I was not a skilled hiker. It wasn’t like me to have done what I did. We still talk about it today and that was when she was was 19 and I was 41. I’m nearly 76 today. It still frightens me. We were saved by a miracle. I was given the willpower to get us out. To this day I detest hiking and…we are all so glad God spared you. What a wonderful gentleman who was there to provide comfort and help. Believing in Christ and the Holy Spirit gives us courage. And I'm very thankful for the miracle that occurred, 46 years ago. 46 years ago, I used to love to drive around and find places to slide around. 46 years later, "sliding" in my vehicle is one of the things that panics me when driving. You might say I really pucker up when driving in slick conditions. At my age I have no desire to slide around in a 3,000 lb. ice skate. Evansville isn't Chicago or Milwaukee, but we get our share of snow days. I guess the road crews do their best, but sometimes the hours of some snow storms seem to catch them flat footed. Thank you for sharing your miracle with us. We are better people, having stories and life lessons from Granny Pat. It wasn't your time 46 years ago. You had those two kids and us to look out for. 🙂

I am too familiar with the feeling, Dear Soul. We hit a patch of ice on a bridge & our truck was headed toward a river & by the Hand of God & HIS Mighty Angels stopped our truck from going over the rail into the icy river. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
