222 Yagi Removal

A winter storm damaged most of my antennas in December, 2020. This 222 MHz yagi was the last one to come down for repair or modification. It is a K1FO-22 with a boom length of about 28 feet. The top plate of the tower is 104 feet above ground.

I love doing tower work, but putting antennas up is more satisfying than taking them down!

Why?

Why remove it? This was part of a project to repair storm damage and upgrade the whole antenna system for HF/VHF/UHF.
