2222 Echoes of Earth | DanceFilm | Erasmus+

Echoes of EarthA dance film born out of collaboration, creativity, and connection. Echoes of Earth is the result of the Erasmus+ project "Visions of the Future," funded by the European Union. Over the course of two weeks in August, young dancers from Portugal, Spain, France, and Germany came together in Kilombo Kleinow, a tranquil setting in the Uckermark, Germany, to embark on a unique artistic journey.
This project was carried out by Capoeira Angola e.V. - Kilombo Kleinow (Germany), managed by Susy Oesterreicher, in collaboration with UMtanz e.V. (Germany), L'Obrador - Centro de Movimiento Corporal y Danza (Spain), Compagnie La Ravi (France), and Companhia CORPO (Portugal). United by the language of movement, music, and text, these young artists explored themes of human connection and the future, through the powerful medium of dance.
Led by choreographer Yeri Anarika, and inspired by Olga Ravn’s novel “The Employees,” the film weaves together choreography, voice, and music in a deeply collaborative process. The dancers worked closely with an international team of artists including Rute Vitorino from Portugal, Sara Sanguino and Herve Costa from Spain, and Bérengère Altieri-Leca and Jean-Luc Priano from France.
Under the artistic direction of Yeri Anarika and realized on screen by Baldemar Bottini, Echoes of Earth captures the emotional and physical energy of this unique exchange. The result is a deeply moving piece that transcends borders, blending each participant's unique culture and perspective into a cohesive artistic vision.
Featuring original performances from talented young dancers, the film illustrates how the universal language of dance can unite people from different countries, backgrounds, and traditions.
Accompanied by music from Tolga Fidan (track: "Dotdat") and Joji Hirota & Peter Lockett (track: "Ghost Chase"), the film’s soundscape mirrors the dancers' movements, creating a powerful synergy of sound, body, and emotion.

Echoes of Earth - Ein Tanzfilm aus Kreativität, Zusammenarbeit und Verbundenheit.
Echoes of Earth entstand im Rahmen des Erasmus+-Projekts „Visions of the Future“, gefördert von der Europäischen Union. Im August kamen junge Tänzerinnen und Tänzer aus Portugal, Spanien, Frankreich und Deutschland im Kilombo Kleinow, Uckermark, zusammen, um in einem zweiwöchigen künstlerischen Austausch Tanz, Musik und Text zu vereinen.
Unter der Leitung von Choreografin Yeri Anarika und inspiriert von Olga Ravns Roman „Die Angestellten“ entwickelten die Teilnehmenden gemeinsam mit einem internationalen Künstlerteam eine kraftvolle Choreografie. Der Film, realisiert von Baldemar Bottini, spiegelt die einzigartige Kultur jedes Landes wider und zeigt, wie Tanz Menschen unterschiedlicher Herkunft verbindet.
Mit Musik von Tolga Fidan und Joji Hirota & Peter Lockett wird eine starke Synergie aus Klang und Bewegung geschaffen.
