Excellent that you passed it on to David. This encounter reminded of that drama film crew that Paulides mentioned, the event where that dude, just out of the blue, became suddenly agitated; dropped his sound gear; then quickly & robotically beelined it into the forest, never to been seen again.

My god. I can’t imagine. Recently started listening to a channel out of Canada with encounters of these things..the stories are so fanciful, like Chicken Soup for Sasquatch Soul kind of shit..and it’s absolutely dumbfounding because almost every encounter is beautiful and serene. I am beginning to understand that people are making a profit on counterfeit stories based on the amount of interest on KZbin. I appreciate that you are keeping it real and continuing to warn people.

A skier who shot down a mountain like he was being pursued is another that comes to mind! That is a scary thought that something can get into your head like that & control you like that.. even making you see things differently like that!! That explains why & or how people simply run off & get disoriented! That is terrifying! Ty for sharing that!

8:45 "It wants to get us, it wants to get us." Creepy is RIGHT! It seems that they experienced time dilation, spacial tampering, visual anomalies, mind-control, and much more... to the point where Auntie was literally being "taken" by this beast. Thank you, Fred, for sharing this encounter and thanks to Sabrina and her Auntie for being willing to tell their story. I am always impressed with your "story-telling" skills and how you are able to convincingly convey the emotions, the high-strangeness, and the effect the situations have on the people who have experienced them! Also, I love the cultural respect you portray for your elders, loved ones, children and women. I know men are greatly affected also, but being a man, it would seem that aspect would come a bit more naturally...and yet with respect, passion and conviction you bring the audience to understand as much as we can glean from each person involved in the story even though we are not actually involved. I am not an experiencer of Hairy-man, but truly suffered a few months of horrific high-strangeness in the mid 1980's. It was so traumatizing, that my mental health was affected for a couple of years. Just like so many who have something happen that they "know can't be real" and carry that alone, as a toxic, terrifying experience. This is why I DO know people experience Hairy man situations. I hear people express the same depth of confusion, terror, loneliness and self-osterization that I did and I know that unless you have experienced something that affects you this way, the human mind cannot conceive of what that is like and make a tale about a feeling that would never have entered their mind if that one "something" hadn't happened. Obviously, we can share our stories and story-tellers can bring them out to the public so others do understand...but that kind of terror isn't something that is understood without context. There would be no reason to even think of it! This is one of the scarier Hairy man stories I have ever heard. I am sorry these two beautiful souls had to have this blight on their life, but hopefully knowing that they are believed, understood, and appreciated will help them to continue to heal, all these years later! Also, the guy portaging his kayak and the bubbles.... when you think you are safe.. they could be swimming right beside you! You have an excellent channel, Fred. It keeps getting better and better. I pray blessings and safety on you and your channel! I am a Juneauite and appreciate the Alaskan focus, as well as learning from a cultural perspective. Great job!

The words the Auntie spoke at the end of her story were chilling. “I was hearing and feeling what so many other missing people were feeling.” For some strange reason, my mind went immediately to Mary Wilson who disappeared from the Stampede Trail, AK. I’m not sure if Mary was ever found but the circumstances of her case are even more haunting.

I'm almost at a loss for words😮 All of the stories you tell are riveting, but this particular 1 with the woman & her aunt was downright terrifying 😳. Running into a cryptid would be disturbing enough, but the other parts about the disorientation & such was really horrifying. And certainly after what she said sheds a light on the problem of all the missing ppl. 😮 I always loved forests and such but I've heard too many stories like this and really no longer have a desire to go into the woods.

Couple of creepy encounters. I feel for the women prayed upon by that dark spirit, a fallen. Mind games and being disoriented, no joy man. Glad they made it out safe, thank You Lord. Always wondered how well HM could swim too, apparently quite well underwater. There’s a lot of stories of Bunyips here in Australia, they dwelled in the swamps and billabongs. For me, I always thought people were seeing Yowies that distorted their perceptions. Thanks for sharing Fred 🤙

What do people think hairy men want with women? How did the aunt decide on the berry spot before hand and the hairy man was there at the same exact time like it was waiting for them? It could be coincidence/bad luck for the two women but that’s a stretch. The aunts last comment about feeling what the missing feel was very chilling.

One of the creepiest stories I've ever heard. Gives us possible insight into how experienced hunters, hikers etc. go missing and are never found. One story I'll always remember is when an experienced hunter disappeared from a mountain top - yet they found his boots in one location & his FOLDED clothes in another. 😮
