Few years ago my brother and I remodeled our parents media room. And it was the funnest thing trying to figure out cutting the crown molding on the chop saw. We figured it out but later on I learned the term “backwards and upside down” from a carpenter on KZbin.

Compound angles can be tough to figure out.

@@DudleyToolwright Its not just the compound angles, but also transposing it to a new coordinate system, but takes only one time to get it right. I take it you haven’t worked on it yet 😉

I'm wondering because it's a hollow tube if you won't have problems with jamming as it ejects down the tube?

That is a concern I also have, but so far so good. The Delrin is pretty slippery.

Delrin is brass on steroids. LOL.

Robert, how do you not look at the depth that the tool can go in? I would have ground a HSS blank or an existing HSS tool .. Not much cutting forces on delrin.. Same with describing the insert tooling.. no duh, it could not fit in. why even spend so much time talking about it.. we don't need to see that, we all knew it wouldn't fit.value wise, it was not that great talking about left and right.
