One thing I know you can do for free is to compress the stock trigger spring carefully with a needle nose pliers about 1/8" start with 1/16" and test it. If you compress a little too much, you can always stretch back the other direction a little. It's a great way to fine-tune a trigger for free. Be careful not to twist the spring when compressing it. You can do it without even removing the spring components, just use gently pressure.

Fantastic video, I have one for my Crosman 2240XL but I haven't installed it yet, I just got the XL last week from Pyramyd Air and I'm going to put some pellets it through it before installing the GravMag. It looks like you're using Buck-Rail red dot mounts and silenser/moderator kit. I wished I could get a GravMag for my .177 guns.

Of all the different types of single shot bolt action pistol magazines I have tried the GravMag functions best by a long shot. I would love to see something like this in .177

It’s finally starting to warm up in the Northeast…. Getting my range setup and getting back out there. Plinking is the most fun, most relaxing hobby ever, lol. I love even just watching your videos to get me amped up haha. Any new videos coming? Hope you are well. Take care.

Mines similar set up. I prefer the folding stock.

You had a reflex red dot on your 2240XL in a previous video, which looked very compact. How does the cylindrical form of red dot you were using in this video compare with that i.e. do you find it preferable on the 2240 to a reflex? I ask because I recently bought a 2240 and, discounting the potential price difference, am looking at which format of red dot would be the better solution.
@hundopow35782 жыл бұрын
lt comes down to if I'm using a shoulder stock, if not then I definitely prefer an open reflex, if using the stock then I can go either way.

Is that the original 7.5" barrel? Im thinking about buying a 2240XL and add a 10 inch .22 barrel and a Ultra compact AR stock and buffer tube adapter.

Great review. Just heard of the Grav Mags the other day. That is what’s got me thinking about the 2240 over Diana Chaser. Which do you prefer and why?
@hundopow35782 жыл бұрын
If I could only have one of them it would be the 2240. Biggest reason fir that is without a shoulder stock the 2240 is still a great pistol but the same cannot be said about the chaser in my opinion.

Love the setup and thought about grabbing a gravity mag for my .22 American Classic but with or without that mag still gotta pump it up so I’ll probably hold off until I grab a 2240. The classic is great if you have time to burn and just plinking but i kinda want to cut to the bolt action and take my shot so these 2240s are really beneficial. How many shots do you personally get out of CO2? I hear all kinds of answers. I have blowback pellet pistols and can only get 2 MAYBE 3 20 round mags before they just cough out the muzzle more that actually project to the target

Typically I see 40 shots per fill.
@Kcrunchymunch2 жыл бұрын
I cut my hammer spring as recommended on KZbin and now get 50 shots per C02. I shoot only 25-30 yards. I also cut my trigger spring and makes trigger lighter. I'm ordering this mag setup after watching this video. I also ordered a picatanny rail for the front to add a red dot. Next will be to find a sound moderator.

Ever think about going hpa drop block bottle 2240 60 shot per fill + it way more consistent and can be made to a 3000psi fill but needs to be done right to be safe or regulated very easy. It's a fun way to shot that for sure. I have the first gen it's not as good as this model but the kid that design it definitely came a long ways 👍👌✌️💯🎯🍻

I couldn't rule it out. With all the plinker PCP models coming out lately for cheap, I will be trying to get my hands on some of those in the near future. But I could see trying out what you're talking about down the line sometime.

@@hundopow3578 I no what you mean there a couple new models coming out that are even better this year but if you need any help I can tell you were to get the right parts for the lowest price I now of for them that way you don't have to make any costly buys or mistakes just let me no or drop me a message id be glad to help IV built quite a few across the crossman Benjamin discovery marauders QB gauntlet style tube /bottle regulated and non regulated hpa/PCP air guns so I no were your coming from I like to build and it helps understand what's going on and how it function when you build it and easy to tune after understand it have a great one till the next one 🎯🛠️👍👌✌️💯🍻

You can do it for around 120$ or less if you keep it simple and basic and the bottle can also be used for other PCP just to let you know a price range
