226 Aaron's Story 13th of August 2010

The Story of Aaron Livesy from Itv's soap opera Emmerdale.
Synopsis: Hazel is making a real effort with Aaron but questions Jackson about Aaron's surliness. Hazel is left curious as to what Jackson sees in Aaron when he's rude to her. Frustrated, Jackson tells Aaron he's booking his mum into the B&B and going on holiday to give Aaron some space.

Pauline Quirke is a legend!! She is far from shite....and her acting was amazing throughout the whole of the storyline. She added comedy in the early stages then was able to bring in a dramatic and emotional hearfelt scenes later on......the character was never annoying just OTT but so was Viv Hope.

Aaron was definitely crushed when Jackson said that he was going on holiday. He also was expecting it, of course, because everybody leaves him ultimately. And he doesn't quite get, at least in the case of Jackson, he is doing it to himself. Sad but typical. And lets remember folks, it is a soap, the more dramatic the story line, the more screen time you get. Lets just wait and see what happens, shall we, alright? Thanks Jay Dawg for keeping us up to speed in Emmerdale :-)

Come on guys - everyone LIGHTEN up, LoL. Look, takes two to tango and neither of the boys are taking the lead at this point. If Jackson's SO cool, then he can initiate a kiss. Even if Aaron backs away, Jackson can tell him, "get over it, (Mary - LoL) and kiss him. That exchange could be the ice breaker. The fans would love it and we'd be off to a new level in the relationship. Not everything has to be Aaron initiated. Believe me, only takes a single moment of recognition.

@frozenbaby2004 Scene: interior - pub, 2-shot of Aaron and Jackson (talking animatedly) - Jackson: Everyone knows we're together. What's the deal? Aaron: I know but it's weird. Jackson (grabbing Aaron's head, pulling him to his for a "forced" kiss). Aaron (jumping back - standing with fists raised): "What the ..." Then, Aaron begins to laugh hysterical. Jackson sits there shocked. Aaron pulls him into a big hug, whispering "Told ya, I never do what I don't want to do". Then a proper kiss.

I didnt expect Jackson to back out of that situation so quickly. I got the feeling that Aaron might wish he could go on hols with him! Hazel made the first perceptive comment re Aaron finding her an acquired taste. Maybe she won't always be such a freight train. I could see Aaron warming to her later: she's totally straight out, says exactly what she thinks. If Aaron doesn't suddenly pack his own bags, it'll be interesting to see if he misses Jackson, either while he's gone or once he's back.

@Jendall1 I think its important to keep in mind that Aaron is only 19, has a very troubled past that he is still dealing with AND has just come out. On top of this, he also has to deal with the hazing he gets from Ryan and Cain AND dealing with Chas and her prat boyfriend Carl.

Arthur M He's 18, just come out, in his first relationship since coming out, now he's living with his BF and his Mum. To soon. Yes Aaron is very troubled, and at this point in 2010 we didnt know the half of it 😱😱when we do in 2016 everything finally begins to make sense 💔😢

When Aaron asks Jackson "When are you going?" his face says, "noo :(" but maybe if he made ANY sort of effort, Jackson wouldn't leave in the first place. THIS IS A VERY DIFFICULT SITUATION FOR A SHIPPER. Who do I sympathize with?! LOL

EmppuRocks I'm with Aaron, simply because this is all so new. He's still dealing with being Gay, he's in his first relationship since coming out. He's still not comfortable in some situations. Plus the fact after all that, his BF of a few weeks and his Mum have moved in. And his friend has been arrested for murder. Plus I really love the character Aaron ♥

Despite what we may all assume, doubtful that Aaron and Jackson are "getting it on" what with Hazel and Paddy roaming about at night. With Aaron's crappy attitude, Jackson is sleeping on the couch. I know I wouldn't want to share the Serta with someone like Aaron. When he told Jackson that he proably scared him off again by him going on holiday, what does he expect? Aaron has been in a TOTAL funk from day one. It's time to change the record. The needle is wearing out these grooves!

This is looking a bit bleak for Aaron and Jackson. I HOPE that they sort things out and stay together. It would be such a waste if they split up after all they have already been through. And in Jackson's defense, it's Paddy's fault that they are in this situation as they would be fine if Paddy hadn't coaxed Jackson into moving in.

Aaron's handsome, but so somber and unfriendly. Jackson deserves better. Aaron seems eternally grumpy and really needs to lighten up -- crack a smile every now and then. Grumpy, grumpy grumpy. Yuck.

@menzhi So he has issues? What toon on Emmerdale doesn't? Especially Jackson with his inabilities to commit. He uses sarcasm and twisted humor to hide, which is JUST as insecure. Joking in a relationship can be fun, but NOT to the point of ignoring your partners feelings. If anyone should leave, it's Aaron. He's talked to Jackson and Jackson is fully aware of his issues and has agreed to help him. And mum, she's just a pain in the arse, nothing more. Jackson's a momma's boy.

@Jendall1 Conversely, don't think that Jackson is all that and a "bag of chips". Takes two in a relationship, and Jackson ALWAYS being "cheeky", sarcastic and treating Aaron as a psychological playtoy for his twisted sense of humor isn't furthering things either. Scroll up (er or down ) and read my earlier comment/scene. Much better solution representing two young Gays beginning the process of falling in love.

@jcsgrrl You have apparently not learned to read properly. Jackson said, "I guess we'll have to cancel tonight," inferring they HAD talked privately about spending the night together. Second, Paddy NEVER offered to put up his mom. Just Jackson. Jackson should have used the money to put his mom in the B&B so he and Aaron would have had time ALONE together, if he had half a brain and was serious about the relationship. I'm not troubling this channel anymore with someone that hasn't a clue.

@jcsgrrl I'm surprised you'd have a man, much less hold on to one with your limited or just plain ignorant understandings of relationships. People in relationships try to understand how their significant other feels and accommodate them. If necessary, interrupt what is being said react accordingly - not cryptic. Jackson KNEW Aaron wanted to be alone with him. Even said, "what, you want me all to yourself - do you?" Instead of taking the clue, he didn't get it - much like you.

As much as I love Aaron and Jackson, this so-called romance of theirs is getting boring. I think we have had enough of "feel sorry for me" Aaron and his crappy attitude towards everyone, especially Jackson. Enough already! Can't the writers move on to another phase of Aaron's gay acceptance? The Holly drug problem is a total waste and no one cares about this arc or the actress. Aaron is going to be a lonely man unless he changes his ways. And the audience is going to be gone also!
