Good suprise,I wasn't expecting so many encounters I like hearing all of them even short ones . but the grandma one made me think of mine she lived in a camp on a mountain for most of her life just her and her 16 gauge for security!! She got deer and chased bears but no hairyman I heard one time a old hairy man scared the crap out of her and he never did it again just a little history of another grandma story.thank you for the great encounter stories!!

TG she wasn’t alone and had good neighbors who had her back-while attempting to protect themselves too! Hope it never comes back and that she can regain her peace of mind. I'm Yupik, and our Elders always told us the Hairy Man was not a forest friend. We were told never to turn our backs on the forest and never to go alone in the woods. The Elders told us Hairy Man would kidnap women, children, and Elders. Hairy Man was like all dangerous things to be avoided. Never whistle in the woods, etc. We were also told if Hairy Man shows himself to us not to look him in the face, because he views that as we're challenging him. The Elders said to look down to the right or left and slowly back away. They said never turn your back on Hairy Man or run from him.

Nice job Fred! Like the finding Waldo hypothesis! I believe that sasquatch can determine the person's intentions and are more likely to be seen by those who don't have any thoughts of pursuing, chasing sasquatch! As curiosity is a real achilles heel of the sasquatch! Amazing how sasquatch are able to ascertain situations like this!! Fascinating! I gotta get out over there and prove what I believe is right! Great shares . Thankyou. Hope you are well! And to all your listener's here too! Jason in England x

The hair and the oily skin bend light , I'll bet that oil on the skin is antiseptic , They probably never get infected or bitten by insects or flies, when they cut themselves , another thing I'll bet when the young guy couldn't see the hairy man, It was because he was looking from the angle with the most light ! and the old guy was looking from a kneeling position with less light ! The creatures could be any different variant of colour that is natural to the forest the probably have something like fibre optic hair slightly ! and if they have a lot of grease on their skin they probably don't even get wet in the same way we do ! Like these people who swim across the channel between England and France, They cover themselves with grease ! Very strange stuff !? They have grey skin because of the sunlight and also for camouflage against rocks !

I recently saw a video of a persistent bear encounter. They ran him off a couple of times, but he came back each time. On of the group stepped in front of the bear and fired a shot into the ground in front of the bear causing some dirt to spray the bear. The bear immediately spun around and ran off at high speed!
