I eat ketovore too. It really helps keep my blood sugars stable as a type 1 diabetic. I lift weights once a week at home. It only takes half an hour. I follow fred hahns slow burn method. It is extremely effective and it's only 30 min a week once you get into the routine

When i first started eating organ meats, i would freeze seperated slices of beef liver. Then cut into tiny pieces then add to ground beef. It was delish with very little taste.

Love this! I'm definitely interested in a recipe video. I'd say we are ketovore. Eventually I would like to be carnivore. It's nice to see this video because a lot of homeschool moms I watch don't eat like me and they bake and I always think, "I wish I could be normal and eat like that."

I did carnivore last year and lost 25 pounds before getting pregnant 🤰🏼 now that I’m 2 months postpartum I’ve been doing carnivore for a month and the weight isn’t coming off as fast (I have a thick layer of fat to lose!) but I think my body is still trying to become metabolically healthy before it can lose more. I’m so looking forward to losing more weight though, because I’m fairly close to what I was in high school before I got married and gained lots of weight 🥴

Just make sure you're aware of how it's affecting your breast milk as well if you're feeding your child that way. ❤ I mean if you're nutritionally healthy I would think it's fine...though your body might need more calcium or something if you're producing milk, if you don't have enough your body will start to repeat your bones. The same thing can happen with other nutrients and minerals like phosphorus....

Hi! I'm new to your channel and a fellow believer - also a carnivore. Thanks for posting! You have great content. Just wanted to encourage you to try Redmond's REAL salt. Full of minerals and mined in the US. Pink Himalayan salt has been tested and is problematic. Research for yourself and may the Lord continue to lead and guide you! Blessings!

🥩Love this! That you point to a healthy diet for ADHD healing. We personally eat prometabolic, which does involve a lot of animals products, healthy fats and healthy carbs like pumpkin, sweet potato and "fruity" veg like zucchini. We also have fruit. Organ meats and fish are also pretty essential. And when I bake everything is sourdough and well fermented. You should really look into Leviticus 11 and the scientific "why" behind the dietary laws. That was an excellent rabbit hole. I'm really enjoying this series, thank you!

Thank you for doing this! I really want to simplify our meals because routine and consistency really help me function. ADHD here too! So I can cook at home more often, saving money and also so I never have to get the “what’s for dinner” question, it’s the worst. I recently was told that my Uric acid levels were high and that I can be looking forward to gout attacks😳 Not something I wanted to hear. I’ve never experienced any gout attack but I read that it can be caused by eating too much meat. I also heard it could be from sugar so I think I’m gonna go with that. Im super interested in going carnivore for a while to see if it helps my inflammation, bloating, hashimotos, acid reflux and uric acid levels. I could lose some weight too but I just wanna feel better.

I tried eating meat. Even grass fed and organic meat causes me to lactate to the point I got screened for breast cancer. Once I stopped, the lactation went away. I went back to a vegetarian diet. I think eating healthfully is not a one size fits all. So experiment and eat what’s best for YOUR body.

I just wanted to point out that you can have too much water... Most people don't but it's possible and it's just as bad or worse than not having enough water. I'm also in the boat of telling people to drink water because most people really don't have enough. But I have made myself sick before by having too much water which can also cause electrolyte imbalance, headaches, even an unconsciousness and worse...most adults should average around 8-12 glasses a day of liquids and if you work out a lot or are especially sweaty during the day...or sick...13-16. I don't think you should have much more than that especially every day. What concerns me most about carnivore is saturated fat. I have too much for sure and I am not on a carnivire diet. I was doing mostly meat, until i thought about this. I think if I was having smaller portions maybe it would be fine. 😅 But I have broken out since foing mostly meat. I barely even had a pimple during highschool. So this is strange. Idk if it's something else..But for me I think I need more balance. Definitely had too many onions. They are great for health but with thyroid issues need to be in moderation. So it's interesting most people dotnt know their bodies well enough, let alone that even healthy foods might not work for them.

I'm almost 3 months after my hysterectomy. fibroids and endometriosis here! along with Fibromyalgia. today husband and I saw Dr. Berg's video on hysterectomy and he's all about IF and keto. I've been fighting it and I'm finally throwing in the towel. next week with my husbands support and help (he LOVES) to cook and uses the smoker a lot. He's lost over 25lbs and has dropped on the diabeties #s. I'm going to try hard to go "keto" ( I won't eat cow, slowly trying to reintroduce pig back into my life) for 30 days and then slowly introduce my other Whole Foods I love like oatmeal, sweet potatoes, fruits etc etc. I will def be in prayer for guidance and strength to eat this way for 30 days. The internet is so confusing!!! vegan solves endo. Keto/carivore solves endo! wahhhhh! I'm learning everyone's body is different and we all react to things differently.

I just started carnivore a few weeks ago and recently found your channel. I quite like your videos, but I got a bit confused when I saw a recent video "homeschool year starts" and you are baking cinnamon rolls. I mean, that's cool, you do you, but I was loving the christian/carnivore/homeschooler stuff and being new at denying myself carbs, I didn't expect to see poppin fresh dough. LOL!!!

Haha- it's been a special homeschool tradition since our kids started school-- and I'm quite ok with it! I also love since we eat very minimal grains (most of us sit quite ketovore) that one cinnamon roll was quite enough! Hahaha!

I can’t speak for Heidi obviously but some ppl do great jumping in 100% while I know others need to ease in to it by going low to lower to no carb then letting go of the fruit and veg. There is something called oxalate dumping and the “keto flu” that can be unpleasant while your body transitions from glucose to fat for energy. It’s different for everyone. Research and start experimenting on yourself 👍🏻👍🏻

@amandazplace5663

I will just speak for myself. I have tried (and failed miserably) the "jumping all in" method. It resulted in the most severe insomnia you can even imagine. Each time I had to quit BC who can last on 2 hrs sleep? I finally realized that I had been self-medicating several things with high consumption of sugar for DECADES (A.D.D. being one of them). My body/brain, for whatever reason, does not produce or uptake enough seratonin or dopamine or whatever. I CANNOT sleep without carb-assistance. So, I'm doing 50 carbs/day (ish), but I save all my carbs for before bedtime (a smoothie). It works! I'm hoping to gradually wean myself off, but, healthwise, I'm wanting what's sustainable, not what is perfect. Because health is not obtained in the short term anyway. But, if others can "rip the band-aide off", go for it! ♥️🇨🇦

yeah i think it takes a week or two to adapt, but what will help you is eat when you're hungry initially starting out, don't count calories or only eat at certain times, over time your body will adjust and you'll naturally only want to eat one or two times a day. also you NEED electrolytes especially at the beginning. i just put a bit of redmonds real salt in my water occasionally and that helps me, but you could also buy the packets of electrolytes or i'm pretty sure pickle juice has electrolytes if you like that. (also if you ever make cheese , the liquid by product whey is super high in electrolytes) ALSO last tip is if your constipated , add more fat into your diet. if your having diarrhea then cut back the fat. i think women need to eat more fat than men do

The veggies today are severely lacking in the nutrients they had in the past. Everyone knows that. And, I still haven't found the bible verse that says "Thou shalt eat your veggies and fruit every day." 💖Genuine question: How do you "justify" the suffering of animals when they are killed?* Even in a humane way on the farm growing up, the animals were still stressed and sensed the killing coming. PLEASE if you have any insight, I'd be grateful. I feel guilty eating meat and haven't been able to for many years, but seriously want to learn if this is best for my well-being (to glorify the Lord). Thank you so much for your time. You are a blessing. (Also, we will be vegetarians in Heaven, since there will be no more suffering/bloodshed according to Randy Alcorn in his book "Heaven" (???)). 💖
