Simply stately grand with great architectural details. The only thing I would dispend with is the table and chairs in the breakfast area which does not fit with the rest of the house.

NEWJERSEY HAS SOME OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HOMES, BUT YOU WILL GO BROKE PAYING THE PROPERTY TAXES!!!! I SEE WHY SO MANY HOMES ARE UP FOR SALE, PAYING THE MORTGAGE IS A TASK IN IT'S OWN AND THEN ON TOP OF THAT THE PROPERTY TAXES! IT'S JUST CRIMINAL!

qualified buyers are no longer in the market for such a grandiose outdated home. We would rather buy new (5,000 to 6,000 sq feet) and modern. This house looks old, tired and in need of serious TLC. Where are the pictures of the pool and the guest house? Taxes are outrageously expensive. Tax appeal?

Grand Prize exactly. I feel bad for the owner. This went from 7M to 2.9M as of now... It just has no Demand. 18k square feet looks amazing on paper but the house is so outdated and lacking basic luxuries. Taxes as you mentioned should be around 30k but they are at 55k . In serious need of a tax appeal. Its 5 acres. It will sell eventually at a severely discounted price and will most likely be torn down and replaced with a modern home

I know Saddle River very well This garish monstrosity is typical of houses there. They look like Las Vegas casinos. A lot of people with money have no taste.
