I tested concrete for the roundhouse conversion. That was a long time ago. I worked for an engineering company in Lenexa.

Whew! One of the most interesting, unique, well-edited rail videos, I've seen in a while. A very fine example of this new generation of work.

Awesome.. I love the coal cars and auto racks running the exact same speed. Never seen anything like that before.

This is the tracks the trains use that run from the Argentine in Kansas city Kansas when leaving the old SantaFe Fueling Yard where I am at and live. Great video.

These tracks run beside the river to this point. The only crossing tracks is in the West bottoms from the Kansas city Kansas uptown near central avenue.

The mixture of locomotive sounds, the clickity clack of the wheels, and the horns blowing, add the whine of jet engines from the planes flying overhead. It's the sounds of progress in action.

What bridge are you standing on in the beginning of the video? It's a great location.
@dirtthunder16385 жыл бұрын
The bridge he is on is only used by MOW now and is accessible from South West Bvd. It used to go to a restaurant on the bluff that was closed in the 1980's do to ground shifting.

@SantaFeAllTheWay5 жыл бұрын
The highest bridge is relatively new, so perhaps that's why you were unaware of this. However, while the three levels are near each other, they don't cross at the same point like the famous crossing in Richmond Virginia.

Where does the BNSF coal going south go thru, Jeff City or Maybe Springfield and what tracks would BNSF use to go to La Plata.
@dirtthunder16385 жыл бұрын
The BNSF coal and UP auto rack are heading south on the former Frisco and MKT lines that split apart at Paola KS and go south to Ok and Texas. The flyover you see is what most of the trains going north on the former SF use going through La Plata.
