Really odd that as the only couple that really do airline videos they don't choose those seats for couples in the middle aise .... missing out there just for a window seat that shows zero views due to being overnight. DO COUPLES VIDEOS ON FLIGHTS rather than pandering to solo seats Then you could have shared the meal and would have been more fun for the viewer.

Excellent video as usual, love how you narrate your travels. As for liveries, I’ve always been a fan of Pualani on Hawaiian, always looking forward at the flight path as if waiting to get a view of one of the many, often potentially exotic, destinations just on the other side of the horizon of the great Pacific Ocean.

Ok. I know you were just in Japan, but recalled the "Melody Roads," of which there are 30 apparently. Here's the quick info off the web: Some of these roads, such as one in Okinawa that produces the Japanese folk song "Futami Jowa", as well as one in Hiroshima Prefecture, are polyphonic, with different sequences of rumble strips for the left and right tires so that a melody and harmony can be heard. As of 2016, there are over 30 Melody Roads in Japan....Maybe if you return, you can take a car ride on a Melody Road. 🦆

I was on an Etihad 787 Dreamliner from LHR-AED in Business just over 2 years back (think it was 9H, backwards-facing on the right side of the plane) - Note my tickets were paid-for by an external company I was working for, and they put me in Business on the way out sheerly bc it was the only seat left, not bc I requested it. The main complaint, like you, was the foot tunnel - It was way too narrow for me (size 11 UK), especially as im a side-sleeper. Even though it was an evening departure, I couldnt get any sleep bc of how uncomfortable it was... The rest of it was as you explained though - Food was excellent, flight attendants were attentive and took orders before we took off, and they were attentive throughout. My seat needed resetting bc the IFE totally locked-up and I was given a 2hr WiFi voucher code, but as with you the WiFi was non-functional. Shame it was before the new terminal at AED was built though, Terminal A looks stunning! I was in economy on the return leg so can't speak for the old lounge @ AED but it looks fantastic. LHR's T4 lounge has nothing on that, but the bartender seemed to be giving more than double shots for any spirit+mixer drink! So would I fly in Etihad Business again on the 787? If getting sleep isnt so important, yes. If sleep is important, I would consider other options bc of the narrow foot tunnel preventing me from sleeping.
