22nd Green Race Carnage at Go Left and Die! Class V Whitewater Kayaking

This video was shot Saturday November 4, 2017 at Go Left during the Green Race in the Green River Narrows between 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM. This video contains carnage action as well as safety efforts and other items of interest. Intro was shot in the Green River Cove during our most recent flash flood prior to the race. The water had not been higher since 2003.

Ha ha... most boaters by far had clean lines. This is the NASCAR cut like the news shows. Who wants to see the clean lines? If you do my channel has the long cut showing all the clean run as well. This rapid is rated class V+ for a reason...

The spectators at the Green Race are at times over the top with horns and cowbells. The crowd generally exceeds a thousand in the Narrows during the race. The crowd actually can drown out the roar of the class V+ whitewater.

@@gibby6996 Take the Swiftwater Rescue Technician Course from Rescue 3 International and you will get to do that and more for a week! Fun swim through a class 4 boulder field on the final day. Plenty of cuts and bruises to go around, some broken ribs too if your luck runs out. 😉
