Great video! It brings back memories of my days kayaking back in the 1980s & 90s. I loved running big water like that as well as creek running.

I was stressed to do the Middle channel of the Ottawa today, but the size of the waters you guys ran in this video committed me!

I love that Dane Jackson is just as buzzed as any beginner after rolling up from a rapid.
@Chompchompyerded2 жыл бұрын
What a maelstrom! That hole looks like death without reprieve. I'm impressed by anyone who runs that, Bridge rapid doesn't look any gentler. It be like the river says, "No Dane, you don't get to choose where you get to go and you don't get to choose whether you do it deck side up or deck side down. I make the decisions around here. " Last rapid, marginally more chill, but still very impressive and fun to watch.

With that big hole at the bottom of this run I would say this is just as serious an undertaking (if not more serious) than running the Niagara Gorge. I wonder how many cfs the fellows were dealing with during this run?

You need a reverse ejection seat, like a self inflating helium balloon so if you get stuck in a hole you hit a button,inflate the balloon, then release once you're out of the hole
