He was already questionable before the Rockets game with some shoulder issue but I assume he tried to fight through it... Then he didn't shoot a shot in the second half so you would assume it wasn't going away. Coaching staff probably shut him down after that since they gotta think long term.

His shoulder was fine but he hurt his ankle is the Rockets game, he actually went to the locker room early that game but he came back and fought through it. He had to take a van back to SA to properly nurse his injuries, that's why he wasn't present even at the bench for the last two games. He's playing tomorrow in the Warriors rematch.
