Jack, the problem with social anxiety (myself) is overthinking everything. I did try to date a few people here and there, but I didn't enjoy these experiences because they were too much for me to handle. I can't assume I know you, but my main issue is my gay asexuality. It wasn't easy for me to accept it at first. Just cuddling and kissing, but no sex. Most people don't understand this, and this is the reason why you have to really ask yourself what it is exactly that you're looking for either sexually or romantically. I'm as old as you, and thankfully I know myself better now. I'm telling you, it's not easy, but there will always be people who do care about you or are interested in being your partner. I'm 40 years old and only had one girlfriend for 6 monts and that was 15 years ago. Recently I attracted one girl on the job but she was unavailable. But I played it smart by researching and taking all around courses on how to improve as a better man. Being Absant gave me unlimited time to think instead of giving up. Plus it was fun. I had 2 girlfriends when I was in both elementary and middle school but sadly I didn’t lose my virginity with either of them. It didn’t really matter because we were minors at the time so we were too young for sex anyway.
