23 CASUAL & CHIC SUMMER TO AUTUMN TRANSITIONAL OUTFITS 2024

Hi everyone! I hope you are all well! Thank you for coming back to another video or if you are new to the channel thank you for being here! In this video I’ve put together 23 summer to autumn transitional outfits. For this particular video I’ve focused mostly on casual chic outfits, suitable for everyday wear, with only a few smart casual options. You’ll find lots of denim jeans styled in this video, flats shoes and transitional layers. I have another video planned very soon with a classic and smart approach to early autumn outfits so you’ll find lots of styling ideas for trousers and satin skirts in my next video. For this video I wanted to focus more on casual outfits, and denim styling because I hadn’t done that before on my channel. I’m so happy to see such a diverse community who watches these videos here on KZbin and it's so amazing to see so many of you living in such different parts of the world. Please keep in mind I live in England, so the outfits are suitable for the weather I’m currently experiencing during the transition between summer and autumn. If these outfits don’t suit the weather you have and you’re not able to recreate them, I hope you can at least take inspiration from the outfit formulas and the colour combinations. I couldn’t be more excited for autumn/winter. They are by far my most favourite seasons in terms of fashion and styling. I've been looking for the ideal A-line denim skirt in that colour for a long time and this year I definitely see a lot more options from brands, compared to last year when straight/pencil denim skirts seemed to be the only options available. They have so many songs to choose from but it just takes time to go through everything and pick and choose, time which I don't always have, so I always come back to the same 5-6 songs. I like my hair like that too, the only downside is that it gets super flat after trying on so many outfits and doesn't look as nice at the end of the day as it did when I started filming. I usually have it up in a bun because it's easier to manage, but I think having the hair down suits autumn outfits a bit better. Thank you so much for watching the video!

That denim dress is cute. Denim on denim is back this Fall & the "It" colors are Maroon & Concrete Gray. Burgundy or Red can substitute for Maroon. Vests, full skirts, pleated, plaid wool skirts, silk scarves, brooches, chunky chain jewelry & earrings, piled on jewelry, vintage brown mink or faux fur, leather, trench coats, long blazers, natural colored, animal prints, Fall florals, shades of brown, olive, fringe & bows, are all the rage.

Thank you! I use elastics sometimes. Most of the time I don't, I just tuck under rather than over, and that works for most of my trench coats or blazers. The less oversized the item is, the easier it is to keep the sleeves up, but if they don't stay up on their own I use elastics.

Ah I'm sorry about that! I focus on a lot of budget friendly/high street brands and the downside is that usually items sell out incredibly quickly.

It’s crazy though, everything she has labeled as casual would be considered almost dressy where I live. Like that denim dress at the very end, it’s denim and you can’t get much more casual than denim. Lovely casual dress. But I’d still get people looking at me and asking “Well, where are you going?” Or “And who are you trying to impress?” 😢 I would love to dress like this and not feel like I’m sticking out like a sore thumb. I can get away with it more at work, and I’m having fun with it, but I still get comments.

Ah I love wide leg jeans! I'm still trying to find ones with the ideal fit and length. There's so many options out there which makes it harder to choose! Most I've tried fit too snug at the hips and too large at the bottom. If you have a brand in mind you can recommend I would love that! I had a pair I was planning to style for this video but didn't realise they were a bit too long to wear with flats so I didn't include them. I will style them with heeled boots in another video. For this particular video I focused on a lot of denim for casual outfits, so I didn't include any ankle trousers or full length trousers. I have another video coming this week with lots of styling ideas for those! ❤

I always go for the same lo-fi, relaxing but still slightly upbeat songs, mostly instrumentals, because I think it suits the pace of the video. I would appreciate the feedback!
